Sirenix in 2D...

First topic message reminder :

What did you guys think of their Sirenix in 2D in the ending of the opening, well I'd think it's horrible....for me, my reason was that their outfits and hairstyles were the same as the CGI version, which was okay....except for stella, she got purple highlights on her hair, which I didn't like!

What bout you guys?

Well, i like it, but they look a little bit different than the 3D one.
but still like it!!

I kinda like Sirenix in 2D because 2D is more "Winx" than CGI (especially in the series, in movies I prefer cgi, because it makes them different). But I also like the CGI-version particularly because of the all fine details. They just still need to work with those CGI-faces. Very Happy

But maybe the hair looks little better in CGI 'cause in 2d it looks little weird to me; it's so different from the previous hair stails of the Winx!

I love them both in 2d and CGI but I prefer CGI

I completely agree.
The CGI is way better than the 2D animation. I mean, Look at the way they have drawn it some of the poses and movements? (I thought they could have drawn it better.)
It's quite disappointing. But oh well.

I don't think it's as much that it wasn't drawn well as it is it's flash animation, not handdrawn. Flash animation doesn't do poses well.

the clothes look like they were mirrored cause i remember stella's ribbon was on her left arm and the thing that supports her dress up on her shoulder was on her left and her clips were on her left too. Same thing goes for Aisha. I can't see most of Bloom though.

^^^ I agree. The believix looks a little strange in Flash animation compared to being hand drawn. The rest looks very nice. I just think that this transformation should just stay being CGI unless it was animated and looked like this:
