Lyrica Mansion

Located on the most expensive street on Gardenia, is The Lyricas' Mansion. However almost nobody knows that they live here. Outside, there's a huge gate that surrounds the property, a nice pool and garden, a fountain, patio, and even a couple swings shaped like eighth notes that hang from a few trees. There are a few guestrooms for friends and family to stay in.

When the limo arrived, Cadence hopped out with Clef. "Thanks Brio!" She called to him before heading up the steps and ringing the doorbell. When nobody opened the door, she rang the ball again. There's someone in the house since I can hear video game noises. After a minute of ringing the bell, Cadence got impatient and dialed her home phone number.

Allegro was playing Fairy Fighter. "Come on....60 more points and I can use the super special attack." He was playing Melodic Muse vs. Musa while trying to ignoring the doorbell and the home phone ringing. "Argh, SHUT UP!" He yelled at the phone while trying to beat the game until Musa used Infinite Echo destroying the Melodic Muse to ashes. Musa's sprite did a sassy hairflip of victory on the T.V screen while the words GAME OVER popped on the screen.

"NOO!" Allegro face-palmed before finally answering the phone that wouldn't stop ringing. "Sup, what do you want?"

"OPEN THE DOOR!" Cadence yelled through the phone, before Allegro hung up and ran to the front door to let his older sis in. "Honestly, doesn't that video game of yours have a pause button?" She said, walking in with Clef.

"No thanks for opening the door Cady?" He asked, while locking it.

"I don't need to thank you, you kinda need to let me in cause we're family or else mom and dad would get upset if you ignore me on one of the days I drop by home." Cadence said, rolling her eyes, giving her little brother a quick hug and heading down the hall. "Where's mom and dad?"

"Mom's in the shower, and dad's listening to some movie on his headphones." Allegro replied before running back to his video game to start it up.

"Well then I guess I'll first give Clef his medicine before checking up on dad." Cadence said, running to her room and giving Clef the drops before heading to where her dad was.

Eventually the girl would find her father with his head phones on, noming on a bag of salt and vinegar lays chips.

Cadence gave her dad a hug from behind which surprised her dad who hugged her back after pausing the movie. "Cady, its so good to see you!" He said.

"Likewise! Anyway, Allegro wouldn't let me in the house at first!" Cadence complained about her brother to her dad, sitting down beside him.

"Don't worry about him Cady." Her dad replied. The T.V screen showed that her father was rewatching a movie he had produced.

After a few minutes of chatting with her dad, Cadence noticed a paper that talked about producing a movie called Pretty Lying Fairies 2.

"Dad, you can't do it." Cadence said to him, surprised that he had actually agreed.

Her dad sighed. "I know they are unhealthy for me...but they are just so tasty!" He said, popping a few of the Lays chips into his mouth.

Cadence rolled her eyes. "I'm not talking about the chips. I'm talking about Pretty Lying Fairies, its sequel. Dad please, you have got to understand that if you produce that film it would be possibly be the single most humilating thing that ever happened in my entire life!"

"Oh really?" Her dad asked her, looking amused at her little teenage break-down. "Well I would've thought that you'd be thrilled to hear me producing this. Pretty Lying Fairies was one of the highest grossing movies last year that had magic involved in it."

"But its garbage..." Cadence muttered.

"That's your opinion. You liked a movie like Frozen in the beginning while many people sadly hate it for how it got too much hype for a normal film." Her dad replied.

"I saw Frozen the day it came out so I saw it with a clean perspective unlike some people who only hate it because its popular." Cadence replied back.

"Well as time goes by, you are able to see different aspects of a movie like Pretty Lying Fairies. This is also about business!" Her dad told her before adding. "Besides if Disney is able to make snowflakes where no two are the same, then surely they could've written the storyline better."

Cadence narrowed her eyes at her dad before taking the Lays chip bag that he was eating. "You know these really are bad for you." She said while standing up and walking off with chips, popping some in her mouth while hoping to run into her mom somewhere. She should be out of the shower by now.

"Cady! Come back, I need those!" Her dad called after her.

Her father's voice continues to call out down the hall for his precious chips as she moves away, probably up stairs to see her mum.

"Mom!" Cadence ran over to her and gave her a hug to which she responded.

"How's it been at school sweetie?" Her mom asked after releasing her.

"Err..." Considering on how I failed a test today...

"I'm guessing not so well then." Her mom said when she didn't give a response. "You should have brought your friends with you here. I would've liked to have met them."

"I don't really have any friends. I just know a lot of people." Cadence corrected her mom while Clef gobbled down the chips. After a couple more minutes of talking, she eventually went out into the backyard and started swinging on the eighth note swings, thinking.

"May I join you?"

Cadence looked up to see her fairy godmother, Carmina. "Sure, I guess." She said while swinging.

"What seems to be the matter Cady?" She said as she sat down on a swing.

"I'm wondering if there is something wrong with me." Cadence mumbled to her. "I can't seem to click with the other fairies when it comes to friendship. I have been in the school play but that's acting. They might be pretending to be nice to me so that the mood on the set would stay smooth which I know is understandable but...They all seem to have this big squad of fairies, wizards, specialists, and even a few witches. I don't know what I have to offer to anyone."

"But big or small...there's a difference that only you can make." Carmina said to her, putting a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Every person is born for a reason. You don't have to fit in with the others to be special. You just need to be yourself."

Cadence smiled. "I guess but that's hard when some people just stay on their laptops in their dorms all day."

After a while of talking, Carmina stood up. "Well I should be getting back inside now. I did tell your mother I would be back inside soon to help her with something."

"Though nice chat right?" Cadence piped up to her fairy godmother.

"Of course." She said before going inside and leaving Cadence to continue her swinging with the accompany of Clef.

Time passes slowly, but maybe Cadence should check her phone, cuz it might be time to head to the party.

Just when Cadence was about to get up, she felt her headset vibrate against her. Something's up... Putting on her shades, and doing a quick peak around the street, she opened the gates.

Going a few streets down, she snuck in an alleyway. "Melodic Muse, Power!" Transforming into her alter-ego and flying off to the place she felt the vibrations coming from.

rayla's teleportation spell made her land a path that lead up to the the lyrica mansion. She began to walk up the path. Checking her phone for a reply from cadence

After she had detransformed in an alley-way, Cadence had seen Rayla's text and had teleported back to her place. "Rayla!" She called to her after spotting her on the path. "I'm surprised you decided to stop by." She said with a smile. "After all, I heard that some people decided to stay at the Winx Hotel."
