I would like to give you some pointers on how to make your pieces stand out better when using bases like that.

- Shading will bring out a new dimension of your piece. If you are using a flat base, it’s alright, but when there a different colour on there, that’s there the shadow is. And that’s where you put shading. For the hair, follow the outside of the body (and add some strands of hair if you want to be fancy.

- Outlines are really helpful. It’s a nice finish to your piece and it won’t look really horrible. Also, use a paintbrush than the paint bucket to get a better finish if you are working on paint.

- Bases you use should really credit all the time if it’s from devianart. Some people doesn’t want to have their bases to be used on other sites than dA so I suggest that you read the rules BEFORE using them yourself. If you do use her, try and post your works on dA before posting it on here. Base makers like to see what other people created with their stock and bases. I’m trying to protect you from the dA community and they will hunt you down if you aren’t careful.
