| First topic message reminder :
Everyone know's that the 2nd Winx Club movie and even the episode from season 4 took out the "marriage" concept. But why? Whats so wrong with marriage to Nick?
A Fairly Odd Parents episode had Timmy Turner's mom and dad get married in some crazy situation, and I bet even Spongebob had a marriage moment at some point.
So whats wrong with marriage anyway? Disney tossed out marriage left and right so why does Nick do this with the Winx?

| I don't see what the big deal is about the marriage. Like John said, perhaps Nick changed it to fit into the storyline but there's only so much they can do to make MA make sense. Maybe why they're even avoiding it is because of all those tv soccer moms that flinch at every little thing their kids watch. That's a reason why many shows have been cancelled. Either way, are they gonna make Bloom depressed because of some princess ball? That's not like Bloom at all. If it was because of Diaspro, then yeah, of course, but Bloom isn't that shallow. | |

| I KNOW WHY THEY DID IT FOR THE MOVIE! Bloom and Sky were not married in season 5, obviously. So they had to cut out that part because then they would have to get married in the T.V. show and right now, they are kind of on a big mission. | |

| Not necessarily, after all people are engaged for year, so they would not have to get married in neither 5th not 8th season... | |

| You can technically be engaged for longer than a year, it all depends on how things work, then you just don't know how love takes it's course, that's why Nick and Rainbow aren't having Bloom and Sky or anyone else for that matter getting married yet, no one is ready to settle down and have "little winx" yet so when the show ends we will see our wedding as it is more of a series finale not a season one then we go into the world of spin offs and prequels which can be scary...... | |

| Well then I'm guessing Nickelodeon doesn't support teen marriage.. Nickelodeon may have had a couple marriage scenes in a couple of their shows, but most dealt with older people like adults. They don't support that stuff. If they had it, some parents will think that Nickelodeon is trying to encourage marriage at a young age.
And about the Spongebob part, he's about like 30 years old. lol. Plus that show is the most random-est show in the world. It doesn't have much of a story line, so I guess sometimes it's an exception.

| the winx are like 20 in season 5 so that's not teen marriage. but it does make sense that if anyone is going to get married that they get married in the last season | |

| Personally I don't think anyone except maybe Flora and Helia are ready to settle down, Bloom and Sky, will Bloom ever be ready to settle down given Bloom's far more stubborn than Sky (I blame that on the fact that she's a literal firey redhead) Sky and Stella would most likely have to persuade her to settle down and take time off, which knowing Bloom she won't want to, so maybe they're waiting until the Winx are say in their late 20's before they settle down who needs to rush right into it, it seems as if everyone here wants the Winx to rush right into it. Again if you rush right into something you're gonna go down the rabbit hole quicker than you can say mini-winx! | |
