Hi guys, this is my second fan fic on tihs forum, the other has been moved ot the Omega Dimension. I hope you like this, and yeah, here is Makani's Hope

I wake up suddenly. Something isn't right. I rub my eyes to try and get them used to the darkness of Melody's night. It's silent except for the gentle wind blowing through the window. My eyes are used to the darkness now and I get out of bed. I gingerly step outside my room. Theres nothing there but the shadows dancing across the walls. I walk through the house when suddenly, I hear the front door slam. I race to the door and open it. Theres someone carrying a big bundle to a van. My parents! I try to be silent but whoever it is has seen me. I yell and race towards him. I would never be able tot ake him on when suddenly I remember something my mother taught me. 'Take a deep breath, and hold your hands out fornt of you, and let the wind flow through you'. I never knew why she told me that, but I never forgot it. I hold my hands out in front of me and breathe. I feel something flowing through my veins and suddenly, the wind is rushing out of my fingertips and at the attacker. He falls over and drops my mum and dad. I try to race over and help them, but more people come out of the van, grab my parents and shoot something at me. I try to dodge it but it hits my hand. I start to feel dizzy, and reach for my swirling parents before falling onto the ground. Then, everything went black.

Here's the next chapter.

I wake up to the sunlight streaming through a window of a strange room. I suddenly sit up, and feel pain searing through my left hand. I realise I'm in the hospital when a nurse comes in and tells me to lie down. I ask where my parents are, and what happened to my hand. She says my hand got hit by a plasma blast, and they needed to do surgery to fix it. But the nurse doesn't say anything about my parents. She leaves, and I'm left to my own lonely thoughts when suddenly my best friend bursts in, her face flushed from running. Ada runs up to me and is talking about ten words a second. She finally stops and asks what happened. I pour out the whole story, me getting up and finding my parents being kidnapped, me trying to stop them and getting hit by a plasma blast, and the wind flowing through me. Oh the wind! I still remember the feeling of it flowing through my fingertips and it flying out of me, racing outwards. Ada is quiet for a record two minutes as I tell her how amazing it was. Then a nurse comes in and tells Ada her time is up and that she must leave. After seeing how sad both of us are, she says that tomorrow Ada can visit for an extra ten minutes. Ada is happy with that, and bounds out of the room. The nurse messes around with all the wires and machines next to my bed, before talking to me. She says my hand was messed up pretty bad, and that she had stopped the doctors from amputating it. "She? Who's she?". When I asked that, the nurse smiles, points at the door and says, "Her. Her names Alieta and she's going to adopt you".
