Winx Club games!
Chokoroko's topic on the Winx Dance Dance Revo. reminded me of the games, and there seems to be absolutely no discussion on them on here.,
So I decided to post a topic about them, including a list of them so people know what all they are/what they made.
Tell me if I missed any!
Note: I have more or less info on some games, so some may have really long sections while some really short
Gameboy, PS2, PC: Original Winx Club
System: Gameboy, Ps2 and PC
Region Blocked?: No
I'm pretty sure this game was literally just called Winx Club, no special title or anything.
This game was really different from their other Winx Club games. In this one you walked around as Bloom, and you could shoot basic spells and shields that can be upgraded into stronger spells and shields from fireflies, things that you can find on the ground or people will give to you for completing a task for them. You did tasks for the other Alfea girls and teachers, and you slowly moved through the Season 1 plot.
Pros:
- You got to explore Alfea and various other locations
- It was based on the Season 1 plot, so you fight the Trix at the end
- You can talk to various people, including Ortensia, Amaryl, and Professor Dufor
Cons:
- Bloom only appeared in her Winx form in a boss battle
- You could only play as Bloom
- If you don't take a task, you can't go back and get it later

PC No
I don't own either of these versions, mainly because PS2 is region blocked and PC game is impossible to find, but from what I understand you run around as Bloom, pretty much like the Gameboy game.
Pros:
- More accurate map of Alfea then Gameboy, very large locations
- You can change outfits
- More area to explore
Cons:
- Characters looked extremely odd from the front
- Once again, can only play as Bloom
- Once again, can't go back and get a task

Winx Club: Quest for the Codex
Systems: Gameboy, DS, PSP
Region Blocked?: No on any system
DS and Gameboy:
This was where the games started turning into what I think of is the main style for a Winx game. Where you fly through a level as a Winx girl, shooting down monsters as you pass them, and your goal is to get to the other side of the level without dying.
These two versions are almost identical, only the mini-games are different. Which I guess makes a difference, since you have to play the mini-games to beat the story, but still.
Pros:
- New style
- You could play as everyone
- Included a dress up closet
Cons:
- Gets boring after a while
- The mini-games that are part of the story are really hard
- Dress up closet was fairly simple and somewhat plain

PSP:
(This version I have less info on, as I don't have a PSP so I've never played it.)
This one was actually named Winx: Join the Club but I categorize it under Quest for the Codex because it follows the same plot, the Season 2 plot.
This one was more similar to the PS2 and PC games, but still not the same style.
The fighting style was rather interesting, and it required pushing buttons at certain times and stuff.
(Does anyone who knows this game have any more info on it? I plan to buy a PSP and play it soon, but I doubt you want to wait that long for more info. I'm waiting to put pros/cons until we get more info)

Winx Club: Mission Enchantix
Systems: DS

This one is my personal favorite of the Winx Club games. It is just like Quest for the Codex DS, but this time you're following the plot of Season 3 and having your characters earn their Enchantix.
Pros:
- You get to earn Enchantix!
- Included an AV room that had lots of pictures, music and videos. Pictures included lots of art of characters including Stella's mom, the mermaids of Andros and the Solarian guards.
- The dress-up feature was improved, and is now a lot less clunky
Cons:
- You can only play as 3 girls at a time, and the level has a preset three you be
- You got to play in Charmix for a very short time
- The story goes by fairly quick

This game is the BANE OF MY EXISTENCE.
Now I was tempted to simply put that for the entire game's description, but I figured you guys would want to know more then that about it.
This game is similar to Mission Enchantix and Quest for the Codex--
I think. This is where the bane of my existence part comes in.
All I can find for this game are a few screenshots of mini-games and an old trailer from three or four years ago. No gameplay, no nada. Nothing else to be found. If my memory serves me right, in that trailer there was screenshots of battle scenes of Believix against the wizards, like in Mission Enchantix, but I could be completely wrong.
The mini games play a bigger role in this game, I think they're like in Codex where you need to play them to get through the story. They're hilarious though, one of them you're just holding an umbrella above a Winx girl and her boyfriend so that it doesn't rain on their date. Another is bathing the pets.
And that's all I know about this game, really. I've been wanting it since I saw the trailer, but since 4Kids didn't do Season 4 it didn't come to America, so I haven't been able to get my hands on it, even through importing. All the imports total up to over $60. If any of you international fans could help me out here that would be a small miracle.
Though I have heard rumors it includes a photogallery like in Mission Enchantix.

Which ones do you own, if any? What are your favorites? What are the ones you just can't seem to get your hands on?
