Today's epsiode was GREAT but CONFUSING! The Trix were in prison but yet the debut epsiode has them out of prison?!?!

Don't forget, this is Nickelodeon were talking about. Of course, they're going to air episodes out of order, although they didn't do that in their dub of Seasons 3 and 4. I think "The Lilo" was put as 'Episode 1' because it didn't involve any content of the main conflict (Tritannus) appearing. Despite the episode showing the return of the Trix with no explanation whatsoever. Not to mention, "The Lilo" felt like a very bland and vague episode all around.

And above all this, I'm still waiting for the 2nd movie to come out and explain how the Trix's come back. Very Happy

Yeah... "The Spill" was a good episode, way better than the season premiere in my honest opinion. I won't talk about it until the episode topic is open, because I wanna put all my thought about it in the appropriate topic.

It fits only for the Trix part, but it doesn't explain why the Winx have to stay at Mike's and Vanessa's while they already had the Love&Pet shop and its lounge before getting their Believix in S4. And there's still Nabu.

Well, at least I can expect not to have such a surprise à-la-Nickelodeon's and to have the eps in the correct order when S5'll air on France3 later this year.

The second movie has been out for AGES in Rai English and with subtitles...why have so many people not seen it?

As for today's episode, it made a heck of a lot more sense than "The Lilo". The Trix being in that prison is both a plot hole and plot device. The show makes don't expect you to old enough\ smart enough to question it. XD

Thinking about it now, the Lilo being episode 5 makes this pretty much make sense.
I mean, judging on that third/second episode description we got a while ago about the Trix breaking out of prison and the benefit concert, Tritannus and the Trix are breaking out of prison together.
So then that's why they were out in the Lilo-- they had broken out in this episode that just aired.
And about why they were in an underwater prison, maybe it's just one of the strongest prisons in the Magix dimension? If it was it'd make sense for them to be dropped there at the end of Season 3.

They were staying there in s4 at the 2nd or 3rd epsiode of season 4 then they got the love n pet shop Bloom's mom bought the shop for the Winx.

Totally agreed. If they had left the Lilo at episode 5 then everyone would be like where is Tritannus? Looking at it you would think that the Trix had never met the Triton. To me The Lilo feels like a pilot episode, the one you take on a test drive to see how everyone feels about the Winx Club which is annoying because the Winx is not a new show and we older fans are use to a certain way of doing things.

Winx Club always opens with a big bang and you see the villain right away. From Season 1 to 4 there has always been some sort of intense altercation.

There was with the Lilo but it was so tame that it did not make me excited to see the rest of the season. It just made me excited to see that the Winx were back and impatient for the next episode. The Spill made me excited and now I am looking forward to seeing the WHOLE season and not just the NEXT episode.
