And nope, you are NOT seeing things. This is NOT a drill either! This is legit happening! Rainbow wanted to do something like this for a while now and it's finally happening!! Here's hoping that nothing happens to this.

So, since Warner Brothers are involved and not Nick, what are your expectations for this almost to a reality dream of Rainbow's?

Cg. Making magic can be tricky since if the actors don't give the director good hand gestures and poses itll look off when the animators apply the computer effects.

i supose that if warner is involved, they could create CGI effects like in harry potter films, with the advances in cgi of actuality must not be hard.

oh i love this news eventhough i'm excited and scared sense you never know the voices of the winx in the movie because A. they could bring in child actors you never heard of and B. it could suck like batman vs superman dawn of justice

I'm pretty sure that they won't bring in child actors. Teen possibly or young adult/adult, depending on the age range that they are looking for. And it could suck, but Rainbow could have control over everything to make it to their vision, so we have to see what happens till the first teaser trailer comes out.

This movie would be better off animated or computer rendered. Live Action movies based on cartoons rarely work out in the movie's favor. There's some hope of it being an okay film since Warner Bros will be distributing it, but depending on the movie's writers, this can turn into an awkward mess like the Bratz movie (or, worse, The Last Airbender). Maybe they'll get lucky and explore the fantasy aspect of the movie and pull it together.

I'm not extremely excited for the movie as I know the plot will be cheesy as hell, but I can't wait to see the effects. Those are ought to be good.

Well, I never watched Bratz or Avatar: The Last Airbender when it was on because I just didn't like but I did play the games that were made for it on the Nick website a few years ago.

But I'm really excited to see this movie because I wondered how Winx would be in a live-action film because it would look so cool. I was thinking of it being like a Fast & Furious type live-action but they won't do that since the show itself it ment for kids.

Anyways, like I said already, I'm really excited for this movie to come out just like how I'm excited for the Power Rangers movie coming out on March 24 ,2017

I honestly think that the Bratz movie and the The Last Airbender were the best! Many complain about it but the important thing is that we go the movie and most of this movies based on series, are technically not so bad. We should be prepare for what's coming cause i'm pretty sure we will enjoy this movie. It's all based on how a person see's the development.

I was just thinking, the news announcing this movie stated it'll be released in 2017, but is it really under the works? Like, we only know they signed a contract for it, and said it'll be out by 2017, and that was in February of 2016! They basically have a year and 10 months to finish it if they still plan to premiere it by 2017, in which I find is highly unlikely.

the only live action movie i ever enjoyed was scooby doo and bratz. live action remakes are always a hit or miss. and unfortunately there have been a lot of misses. however, im going to look at this winx film with an open mind. especially considering nickelodeon has no say in it. im forever going to be salty at nickelodeon and the way they handled the franchise but thats a whole other story.

warner bros is a wonderful movie company so i have hope and i really look forward to it!
