Spells:
High level: Spinal interception (Requires ‘skewered status effect’ on target’): Metallic wires as thin as hairs emanate from the affected site. This goes unnoticed by the target and continues until the hair think lines found their place into the spinal cord, which takes about 2 to 10 seconds depending on initial impact location. After lodging in the spinal cord, the hair thin wires disintegrate into a highly irritating nerve poison, causing the victim to feel as if on fire for a full minute. Despite the pain, other than exertion this spell deals no lasting damage.
Medium level: Skewer: Elanora shoots forth a wire that deals piercing damage to the first target it hits. Optionally the wire can lodge in the target with barbs, forming a direct metallic connection with the target. Only one target can be skewered at any given time. Breaking free from the skewer is possible if one is willing to take the additional damage taken from the barbs.
Push/pull (Requires ‘skewered status effect’ on target): Skewered target can be pulled closer to Elanora or pushed away. If pushed away Elanora can choose to dislodge the skewer, dealing additional slashing damage due to the barbs. Pulling someone near only deals a fraction of the damage push would.
Articaine lace: Elanora laces a wire with nasty poison which can be delivered by the skewer spell. The poison deals no additional damage but numbs the affected area completely causing the target hit, to be unaware of being hit granted the target cannot see the wire. (For instance, when the target is hit in the back)
Ataxia lace: Elanora laces the wire with a poison severely impacting the affected target's motor skills, inducing ataxia making for unpredictable and spastic muscle contractions for 20 seconds. Aside from the impaired motor skills, this poison promotes bleeding, thus enhancing all further physical damage dealt for 20 seconds.
Expand (Requires ‘skewered status effect’ on target): Causes the barbs to expand further, making the skewer harder and more damaging to dislodge and enhancing the dislodge damage of ‘push’. On its own it deals minor slashing damage.
Low level: Trip: Elanora shoots forth a wire she can use to make someone trip. Does not affect flying or levitating creatures.
Appearance: Elanora has anthracite hair and a rather pale skin in comparison. She wears elaborately decorated metallic braces on her wrists engraved with her family crest and several other traditional domino orations. She generally wears rather traditional and elaborate clothing, befit for a high noble. She had clear green eyes with a sharp nose and cheekbones, making for a perpetual hardened facial expression.
Strengths: Patient: Whether it’s to get information out of someone, making plans or simply having to bide her time; Elanora is equipped with a strong and goal oriented mindset allowing her to be able to take her time to cover all the aspects she needs to cover or wait for the appropriate amount of time.
Sociopath: Elanora is completely impervious to someone else’s suffering and will never be shaken by neither other people’s pain nor her own.
Pain tolerance: Elanora has an extremely high tolerance for pain. Her body however reacts normally to damage, she’s just generally unfazed by the pain the wounds incur, causing her to remain clear and levelheaded until knocked out. This also makes her hold out extraordinary long when tortured. However, the pain tolerance does cause her to misjudge her own injuries, making her stay way longer in the fight than anyone else, thus aggravating damage taken.
Weaknesses: Ambush predator: When unable to ambush the prey, Elanora’s magic is drastically weaker than when able to catch a target off guard. (This is interwoven in the specific way the spell combinations function)
Metal: If Elanora loses her bracers, she will be unable to transfuse thus unable to cast any of her spells.
Detached: Due to being frozen for a long period of time and trauma experienced in her youth Elanora is generally wary of people and makes a detached impression, not quite fitting in very well with the other that haven’t been frozen and strongly holding on to old traditions.
Personality: Elanora is a somewhat arrogant girl and often tries to pass herself off as a princess, introducing herself as such while she’s only from a minor noble house. She has a tendency to plan things with meticulous detail. This makes her come across as somewhat obsessive as well. When she operates alone on whichever scheme she has planned, she excels though she’s not inept while working together with others. She liked to be the one in control, the one to be in charge and will try to accomplish that, with force if necessary. When Elanora wants information, she will get it, even if she has to torture it out of someone, for which she is willing to go through great lengths. Elanora lusts for power, making her motivated to learn and to train. This also makes her a force to be reckoned with, she is equipped with the proper tools, both magically as mentally to construct elaborate schemes that could have devastating effects. Elanora is a pathological liar, she will never admit to the things she did even if evidence or proof of her committing the act is provided. This particular feat makes her often come across as innocent. She likes to adapt a victim's role in order to perpetuate her freedom, or invoke pity from people surrounding her, thus exempting her from any suspicion. Due to the traumas in her youth certain boundaries do not exist for Elanora. In her mind, hurting someone to acquire a piece of information, gain leverage or get to whichever end is perfectly acceptable.
History: Elanora was born into a minor noble family on Domino. The house Vinesworth was a rather old house, yet not one without struggles.
From an early age Elanora was pressured by her parents. She was home schooled by tutors her parents hired, which taught her stuff on a way faster rate than standard schools would. Elanora didn’t thrive very well and quickly grew to resent her parents for the pressure they put on her. She had no friends due to her hardly ever getting out of the house.
She sometimes snuck out of the house to have a moment of rest, a moment of peace. These were the moments she cherished most. It was during one of these escapades, usually taking place at night she noticed something interesting.
There was this barbed wired fence bordering a meadow where cattle grazed. Each time she touched the metal she could feel something, though it would take her at least two years after noticing this first before she actually managed to use the magic within her to have the metal bend to her will.
Once she succeeded in doing this around the age of eleven, she snuck out even more often in order to train her magical abilities in secret. Her secret was one she didn’t managed to keep long as she was taken captive by a competing noble house.
There she was tied up to an upright wooden table and they did unspeakable things to her. It was her sheer mental strength that got her through the total of four torturous days she had to spend there before she was finally released. Her parents never even talked about it when she returned home, neither did they want to hear what she had to say regarding the matter. Each and every time it was dismissed.
Unable to turn to anyone with her traumatic experience, the nature of her nocturnal escapades changed. She didn't stop despite being taken captive once. The grazing cattle became her first victims as she gained more and more control of the barbed wires surrounding the meadow. The entire city went nuts about maimed cows, and wondered what kind of psychopath would do such a thing. Nobody ever thought that little eleven year old Elanora was behind the maiming, in order to deal with the trauma the four days of torture by the competing nobles caused.

After being unfrozen, it feels like no time has passed at all. It’s surreal to think over a century and a half had passed without even noticing a single bit. So Elanora held on to the traditions she was taught from home. Lacking friends due to her isolated upbringing she had no one to help her guide through the transition.
During the time she was escalating to do more and more severe harm to cattle or other critters she came across on her nocturnal escapades, Elanora also learned of why she was taken captive. It turned out this had all to do with the petty power struggle her own house was involved with, with two other noble houses that conspired against their house. So instead of targeting random cattle, she targeted the grounds that were owned by the competing houses specifically.
Even though they had their suspicions, the other houses never found out Elanora was behind them thanks to her ability to plan her strikes well, get in fast, do her thing and be gone before arousing suspicion, leaving no evidence that could connect her to the acts.
Eventually, Elanora learned about cloud tower. The maiming of cows had slowly evolved from simply maiming to torturing and eventually killing the beasts. She had contemplated about moving on to persons as well, yet always her senses told her she would be caught. She needed more training if she ever wanted to get back at those who hurt her so badly in the past, so without even announcing it to her parents, one night, as so often she snuck out to never to return home again.
