Did you Think S5's Dialogue was Weak?

Although in most countries S5 was over ages ago, one of the biggest complaints was the dialoug (along with other things).

Did you find the dialouge weaker? I personally did, I read somewhere Nickbow used preschool standard writers for it.

They did indeed use preschool writers for season 5 and 6. I'm quiet sure the lines and everything could have been better do if they hadn't used their nick jr staff.

Yes, I agree with you. I do feel S6 had beter dialogue than S5. ~~But I'm bot really saying much xD~~

Hell yeah it was weak! Season 6 wasn't any better, at all, in my own opinion.
There's no mystery or reading between the lines with S5, which makes no suspension in the season. Where's the fun in that? Razz

There isn't any fun in it xD.

So far, I think season 7's dialogue is a bit better. It's not perfect as some of the lines feel a little out of place, but it's not too bad.

Then again, some of the voice acting in season 7 doesn't help. ESPECIALLY Bloom's voice actress... ughhhh...

At least in Season 7 there's humour. And not like the childish stuff when someone does something silly and the rest laugh, there's jokes/one-liners which are actually funny. Like it used to be pre-S5.

I'm just glad they didn't "American-ize" it as much as 4kids did. Although maybe if they did, it would connect with the viewer more...

And yeah, Bloom's VA is absolutely horrific. Does not suit her at all *cringes*

Yes, I can think of one particular example ~~When Bloom actually does something wrong oh my days.~~

Yeah, I grew up with the 4kids version, and now, I can pick out some the Americanization e.g the year terms they use.

She sounds she's on way to much Helium! At least the RAI movies VA suited Bloom more (except when her voice became even more squeaky).
