Matrim feigned a thought and ultimately flashed a smile. "Alright then, you go to the cafeteria lady and tell her I said you could have half a cookie, but you have to bring me the other half, I would like some as well," he said, giving in to the pixie's request.

Canna blinked "can't you?" She asked him and looked amazed, allmost as if she couldn't imagen anyone not being able to "I just talk to them like I am talking to you now. Then I listen to what they have to say" she explained "isn't that how you usually talk with other things?"

"Well yes... But not with plants?" Matrim said completely baffled. "As far as I can tell the only person here coming close to being able to talk to plats is Flora, and even she can't truly speak to them, only pick up on signals of some sort," he explained displaying his 'amazing' knowledge about magic.

Canna laughed at that "only signals? No wonder the poppies talked about her like that" she got a gigglefit, tumbling out of her hammat soon after and rolling into her back on the table "oh she..." She could hardly talk for the next minute before at last being able to breath a bit more normal again "so... What else can you tell me?" "Tell you... about what?" Matrim asked not quite sure what Canna would like to know. "I can tell you about the places I've been to?" Matrim said in an uncertain way.

Canna climbed back in her hammat after refilling her thumblefill from Matrims cup of tea "ohhhh, any places made of candy and sugar?" She laughed and kept her teacup on her belly while relaxing again

Matrim couldn't help but chuckle. "If there is, I haven't heard of it. Though I have seen this movie from Earth where there is a factory like that. But unfortunately movies aren't real so I'm afraid no such place exists," Matrim said hoping to let down the cute pixie easy.

Cannas eyes glinstered with hope as she sat upright before pouting and laying on her back "awwwww...." She crossed her arms in a bit of an upset look. But it still made her seem adorable and nearly mocking "here I tought I could go explore it!"

"Oh I bet you would be right at home there," Matrim jested as he very carefully poked Canna with his pinkie finger to tease her a bit. "There are still a lot of other marvelous places you could go to, though neither will be made of candy."

The act of poking her with his pinkie made her squeek before letting go of a small burp that produced a tiny cloud of green gass "hey!" She flew up to try and poke him in his stomach, but the advantage of size laid with Matrim this round (or any further rounds for that matter)

Matrim just let the little pixie do what she wanted to and even laughing in the progress. It was long before he let himself enjoy such a frivolous matter. It did trigger a small moment of reflection for him. Since the moment he graduated he never had a true home and was always at work. Marvelous though the experiences were, playing was something he long since didn't do. "Oh Canna, you sure know how to make an old man feel almost like a kid again."
