Magical Device: Étoile Filante (trans: Shooting Star) is Azarias Eckstein's Magical Weapon, which is incorporated with an sentient intelligence within her programming, thus allowing her to have autonomy to some extent. Although Étoile Filante's language mostly consists of English, she at times may speak French due to her creator being mainly from France in Planet Earth. When not in Alternate Mode, Étoile Filante usually takes form of a staff, with its tip constantly changing into the different modes set by the user.

AVAILABLE FORMS

Alternate Mode: Étoile Filante's unactivated form. Whenever she is within this form, she takes form of a yellow star-like gem, its size ranging at about 2.5 centimeters. Within this form, Étoile Filante can perform back-up magics or simple spells.

Rifle Mode: (Medium) Étoile Filante's mid-range high-speed automatic rifle-style cartridge system. Through consuming magical cartridges, it enables the user to manipulate Etoile Filante into a gun-like state to which the user may shoot magical attacks towards their target in accordance to how many cartridges they've stored within the device. It's speed ranges from 15 m/s to 25 m/s within a 5 km range. The damages each bullet can cause ranges from 10-30% based on his magical power, highly depending on the type of defense the opponent uses. Each cartridges are made with the user's magical energy, which are automatically inserted within the system. Producing too much cartridges is very risky and may cause exhaustion to the point of coma-related incidents.

Shooting Mode: (Medium) Within Étoile Filante's shooting mode, the head which is usually a giant yellow sphere surrounded by orbits of differing colours, will dematerialise and form into a magnet shaped head with it facing outwards. This mode enables Azarias to use the attack: Regulus Beam; a medium spell to which using Shooting Mode, enables Azarias to release golden beams of light from the staff that can cause 45% damage based on his magical power. Unlike Rifle Mode, this mode release golden beams projectiles that starts at 5 m/s and ramps up to 30 m/s within an 5 km range. This spell does not consume too much magical energy from the caster, unless continuous attacks longer than 10 minutes occur, to which it will shift to draining large amounts of magical energy.

Rigil Mode: (High) Étoile Filante's star summoning mode. Although the staff remains the same as its original form, the yellow stone within the head will change into an array of colours upon activation of this mode. This mode enables Azarias to use his strongest spell; Uranometria, to which it consists of a large beam of energy that is launched directly from the caster's direction and into the opponents. This spell is capable of inflicting a lot of damage. To cast the spell, Étoile Filante channels the user's magical energy, as well as stray magical energy within the area to form the large sphere, to which upon striking it with Étoile Filante, will the powerful beam be released. The magical energy usage of this mode is quite high, and thus immediate exhaustion may occur. If not rested enough, another shot would be highly risky which may even cause loss of powers for some time.

AVAILABLE FUNCTIONS

Transformation: (Low)Étoile Filante enables Azarias to transform into a knight-like outfit with a magical cape, in order to raise his protection when in battle. The outfit however, is of lighter weight thus enabling Azarias to move swiftly and faster. If Étoile Filante's magic is cancelled, the transformation outfit also dematerialises.

Area Scan: (No Magical Energy Required) Étoile Filante is capable of searching and scanning Azarias' surroundings at a 3 km radius to see whether there is presence in the area. This can only be triggered by command. As Étoile Filante is an early design, it sometimes malfunctions when using this function.

SPELLS

Gale Flight: (Low) Azarias is able to temporarily gain a pair of wings and fly. This spell however does not last long as of yet since Azarias is still to master his magical ability, the longest he can hold it is at least 3 minutes, to which anymore will cause the wings to desolve.

Starlight Defense: (Medium)Azarias' basic barrier-type defense spell. Its purpose is to protect the user upon casting. It has lower magic consumption, and has higher casting speed.

Attaque des Étoiles: (High) Azarias' strongest spell, to which as he casts this, he must first return Étoile Filante to her alternate form as the spell takes a lot of magical energy from the caster. Upon doing so, Azarias will point his left finger up in the skies, to which a large amount of magical energy will be concentrated, forming what seems to be a beam of stars in space. With his left hand he will aim for the target, to which it will shoot immediately to its target and cause a huge amount of damage. Chanting Spell: O magic that conceals the power of the Stars, reveal thy true form unto me, as your the magician of the starry nights, I command thee! Uranometria!!"

Appearance: Azarius is a fit and tall young man, height ranging at about 6 feet. He has a nicely tanned skin, and has light brown hair that's always formed to go up. His eyes are of two different colours, the left being blue, and the right being green. His casual outfit consists of a white plain shirt that's slim fit, and on top is a polo shirt with blue and pink plad pattern. He wears blue ripped jeans and blue sneakers.

Strengths:

Fast Learner: Azarias is a fast learner, thus he is capable of learning things immediately for he has a love of studying which he had adapted from his father and the memories of Adalgar T. Eckstein Jr.
Close-Combat: He is very good at close-combat due to the lessons he's learnt from his father. However, as his father became distant to him, he then continued to practice on his own learning and practicing new techniques he'd learn and read about over the internet, books, and other various sources.
Calmness: As sword fighting is one of the skills to which his father had taught him before he went insane, he was taught to always keep calm no matter the situation, thus whether in battle or not, he is mostly calm.His calmness also gets him through lots of tough situation, whether it involves him being beaten, his calmness enables him to get an advantage as he is able to prevent his enemies from identifying whether they're close to defeating him yet or not.

Weaknesses:

Darkness: Azarias has a fear of darkness which was derived from when he used to be locked up by his father due to his failure of retrieving the vitality stone. Now, when in complete darkness, Azarias will lose his calm and panic.
Lack of Control: As he is a creation full of mystery, he lacks the ability to control his magic powers, and thus unwanted occurrences which could vary at; misfiring, magic failure, or backfires, as such, may happen whilst on battle.
Limitations: Azarias still lacks the ability to know his limitations when it comes to battling, thus if he is determined to achieve something, he will not stop until he's reached his limitations, to the point of exhaustion or even extreme injuries

Personality: Azarias is a quiet and un-trusting person, one might say he is a very secretive character. Although mischievouz at times, Azarias is very much kind-hearted. Azarias is not easily angered due to his calm nature, and is very much forgiving to those who ask for a second chance. However, Azarias only gives people second chances, any further and they will be shunned. Azarias is also very strong-willed and serious, and will only show his kind and protective side if someone has gained his trust. Upon learning of his origins, he at times wonders his worth and whether he should go on living. He is very kind towards children, most likely a feeling that was derived from feeling the love and agony given to him by his father, wanting children to feel more love instead. Azarias tends to worry about those he cares for often, and will go through lengths to aid them if needed be. Despite his tough physique, he is shown to be shy at times, blushing if he was somewhat teased, though he tries to keep this a secret. At first glance, Azarias is shown to be cold because he does not smile often. Due to him being tortured sadistically in the past, he had somewhat adapted his horrible nature and thus at times lose control of his own actions.

HISTORY: The FATE Project, a magical experiment that has been on going on for almost 50 years, was intialised by the Great Wizard-Scientist; Adalgar Eckstein (Hailing from the Planet Earth, a France Native). Upon the 5th birthday his son, Adalgar T. Eckstein, the boy and his mother (Hailing from the Moon) did not make it during an attack as war on the Moon Kingdom occured, and thus passed away. Upon discovering their demised remains, he carried them to his ship where he escaped to the planet Magix. Brokenhearted, Eckstein made it his life's mission to discover the truth of life, and the magic of rebirth. However, Life and Death magic is forbidden magic, a type of black magic that cannot be accessed by any means necessary, unless it is provided by ancient magic; the Gifts of Destiny.

Preserving the body of his demised son and wife within his newly built lab, he did everything he could, through the use of stolen magical materials, as well as stolen artefacts from the lost Kingdom of Domino, to find a way to revive them. After almost 10 years of failure, Eckstein soon began to lose his hope, and his sanity. The pain of his past became too much to handle, but he continued to do his experiments. Soon enough, a Fairy-Scientist by the name "Isabella Lankanotvitch" came to aid the mad doctor, introducing him to the use of "Enchantix Fairy Dust". As an Enchantix Fairy herself, she was able to provide enough fairy dust to get the Doctor's Reactor Machine on going. However, as it shows, rather than reviving the boy to life, it instead made a doppelganger of him. A much older form of the boy, most certainly about 7 years of age.

As Dr. Lankanotvitch considered it to be a failed experiment, Dr. Eckstein on the otherhand was overjoyed to see a much older form of his son, almost as if he had deluded himself that his son grew up with him throughout those years. The boy however, did not know anything, and seemed like an empty shell, thus Dr. Eckstein decided to implant his dead son's memories to the boy. Soon enough, the clone had regained knowledge and was able to function properly with thoughts and emotions. Adalgar Eckstein soon began to recover his sanity, but Dr. Lankanotvitch was not too happy with how things were going. As it turns out, she had found a huge amount of magical energy within the boy, most likely remnants from the fairy dust that had been used, and are now trigger the boy to have magical ability. As Isabella is a Star Fairy, the use of her Enchantix Fairy dust had given the boy Star Magic.

Putting research over others, Dr. Lankanotvitch no longer wanted Dr. Eckstein to treat the boy as if it were his own for as the boy continues to experience care and love, the more his magical abilities began to become surpressed, and thus preventing Dr. Lankanotvitch from doing her research. As Dr. Eckstein knows close-combat as it is his hobby, he has decided to teach the boy what he knows. Isabella wanted to analyse the clone even more but Dr. Eckstein wont let her. In order to drive Eckstein away, she knew that she had to take drastic measures, and thus provided the man with pills that progressively reduced the man's sanity. As days pass by, the more Eckstein's mind began to grow weary, and his insane self soon realised the boy in front of him was nothing more than a puppet made for his comfort, and that his own son was not truly alive.

He decided to begin his research once more, much to Dr. Lankanotvitch's happiness, however now he desired to use the newly renamed 'Friedegarde Azarias T. Eckstein', to collect what he needed. The 12 year old began his search for the 'Vitality Stone', an ancient magical artefact that is said to have been used by the Great Wizards of the past to birth the very first artificial human on the Magical Dimension. However, as it shows, the artefact was hidden somewhere deep within the remnants of Domino, which was then still a barren wasteland. Finding it difficult to do so, the boy came back empty handed, and was met with a painful beating and a handful of lashing from his father. Dr. Lankanotvitch soon used the boy's pain to manipulate him, and thus told the boy to destroy his father and come with her. The boy however, proved to be loyal to his father, and continued his search for the stone. Time after time, the boy is met with failed attempts, only to receive a beating and a lashing from his father at the end of it.

After his farther had gone abusive, he no longer taught the Azarias close-combat and thus, Azarias decided to teach himself by means of any media, thus improving his skills furthermore.

Within this period of time, FATE Project continued its other element, which is producing sentient magical devices, to which magic and machinery items were infused together; making the merge successful. Such complex parts were purchased from different sections of the magic dimension, to which normal weapons were given an upgrade to be further useful and more reliable than the current weapons available within the magic dimension. His very first successful completed device was a sentient device named "Etoile Filante". Several of these devices are currently hidden within his lab.The devices have been tested for years and had a secret automatic option that lets them auto-repair themselves. This automatic option has been the hardest to invent in the prototypes, that even the final projects up to date shut down up to two-days until the device fully auto-repairs itself.

Soon, Dr. Lankanotvitch grew weary and pitiful for the boy, and decided to tell the boy the truth about his very existence. Unable to accept it, he begged his father for the truth, only for the man to harshly reveal to him that he is indeed not his real son, and reveals the laboratory to which the bodies of Adalgar T. Eckstein Jr. and Martha Rose M. Eckstein where inside tubes, keeping their bodies from rotting all these years. Broken, Azarias began to shed tears, realising that everything he had been was a lie, and that nothing was ever real. As he kneeled in place, tears falling, Eckstein began to grow worse and had screamed that he "will kill the one who started his misery", and thus ran towards Azarias' direction with a sword in hand. As he was about to stab the boy, Dr. Lankanotvitch immediately deflected the attack, which in turn, caused Eckstein to stab himself.

With his dying breath, a memory once again appears of his son asking for another sibling in order to make him feel better whenever the boy was gone. He began to felt remorse for how he had treated Azarias, and held the boy in his face. In his hand, he handed a star-shaped gem, to which he named it "Étoile Filante", and hope that "you my son will someday use it", and with his final words, he apologised to the boy for losing his sanity through it all, and finally met his demise.

Soon, the Magic Dimension Enforcer Squadron came along to investigate and convicted Dr. Isabella Lankanotvitch for aiding Dr. Adalgar T. Eckstein with use of dangerous magical experiments, and murder. She was sent to prison, but not before handing the boy a book, one that he himself does not know of to this day, "The Heart of Death".

Afterwards, the boy was sent to be cared for by a foster family, to which to this day he has had a hard time connecting with, but the duo never gave up on the boy. His step-father decided to send the boy to his Uncle, the Headmaster of Red Fountain, Headmaster Saladin, to care for and watch over the boy as he studies in the school, to which he agreed to and thus, began Azarias' studies within the Red Fountain College For Specialists.
