High:

Thundering Aerial Zephyr - This spell can only be performed when Shizuka is with her brother. Kastsuya creates a ball of swirling air while Shizuka shoots electrical bolts into the ball of air, causing it to have a static discharge. Once the two chant “Zephyr” the ball releases its energy and causes a huge shockwave, temporarily damaging any electrical items and causes great damage to the target and users.

Voltage Block - Creates a large forcefield-like light blue shield with electrical currents running through out it. It can only surround two people max, including Shizuka. If she's feeling extra strong, sometimes she can muster the energy of having it surround four people, but it causes a great damage to her and drains her powers for a whole day by 70%. Resistant to high, medium and low spells. Lasts about 7 minutes, but 10 if she does the special version.

Medium:

Electronic Hit - A whitish blue bolt is shot out from the palm of Shizuka's hand. If it hits the target, it acts like a taser. After a ten-second electrical shock, the target has a small stinging pain surging throughout them constantly. Lasts for about five minutes.

Supreme Armour - Creates an electrical triangular shield in front of Shizuka which does not hurt her. If someone else make contact with shield they take damage. Wherever the target comes in contact with the shield, the place starts to get a feeling as if they experienced an electrical shock. Lasts two minutes. It is resistant to medium and low spells, but not high.

Low:

Fluctuating Pulse - A bolt made of pure electricity is shot to the target. Wherever it hits, it sends the feeling of an electrical shock, but it only lasts about five seconds.

Arcane Defence - A small circular shield comes in front of Shizuka. Resistant to low spells, but not medium or high.

Appearance: Shizuka has mid back length light-red blonde coloured hair that is very wavy, and could pass for curly. She has long bangs that fall till her mid-neck. She often styles in a lazy ponytail or just leaves open. Her dressing style is anything but sophisticated, even on the most high-profile events. She often wears mismatched socks, and multicoloured sundresses with all kinds of wacky patterns on them, most notably with cat faces. Her signature trademarks are her hair-bows, that she always matches with whatever clothes she's wearing. She always wears an array of wristbands, bracelets, whatnot on her wrist, and multicoloured rings on her fingers. She wears rainbow-coloured chokers most of the time instead of actual necklaces. Her face is a perfect oval-shape, with large doe bright green eyes, and full, purplish pink lips. No matter what, even at formal events, Shizuka is seen wearing mismatched socks, no matter what type of shoes she wears, or wherever she is. She claims it's a sign of her spontaneous attitude and creativity.

For formalwear, she usually wears large, ridiculously poofy multicoloured gowns with wacky embroidery on the skirt. Her dresses are always colourful, and her hair is mostly styled in lazy buns. She still wears her bracelets and rings on her hands.

Her power, being electricity, actually gives her a more normal-looking and less colourful transformation clothes. For her Winx form, she wears a light indigo strapless mini dress with a pink waist belt and matching lightning brooch on the right side of her chest. Pink arm cuffs on the forearms with black spiral straps on the upper arms; black wings comprised of three feather-shaped segments on each wing. The wings have hundreds of tiny black and grey dots, that make the wings look like static. Her hair is partly pulled back, clipped at the back of her head with a yellowish-white triangular hair clip. Her hair has tiny, shiny white gems littered in random places.

Strengths:

- Her art is exceptional. She always excels in art classes.

- Her confidence. She doesn't want to lose her reputation with her confidence, so it often pushes her to do things when she can't seem to find the motivation.

- Her hand-eye coordination is excellent, because of gaming constantly for years.

Weaknesses:

- Her dyslexia. Her grades go up and down because of it, and she's often bullied because of it.

- The fear that one day, she and her brother would part ways. If she's away from him for long periods of time, she starts panicking and isolating herself, since she only trusts him. If she's away from long periods of time, she starts feeling bad because she feels that nobody likes her because of her dyslexia except him, and she feels like he dislikes her, and wants to her away from her.

- Her spells are weak against the power of wood.

Personality: Shizuka is a very bold and confident person. She has a very high-self esteem, and even though at times she can come off as conceited because of that, she is anything but that. Even though she has a somewhat inflated ego, Shizuka is very caring and forgiving. She doesn't always show kindness, and especially not when someone has wronged her, and/or hurt her too much.

She's also very competitive and compassionate. She doesn't handle losing well usually, but is sometimes calmer when she loses if she's competing against her brother, since they've been playing together as long as she can remember, and she's used to losing with him sometimes.

Shizuka also has a very playful side to her, that she often shows to her friends. When you meet her, she's often very sarcastic and makes a lot of jokes, although she never makes hurtful remarks, and almost never comes off as rude. Once someone passes that time with her and she opens up to them, she's very sweet and joyful, and often likes to display affection.

She's also a huge gamer. She plays all kinds of games, from PC to console. She mostly likes classical things, because she's fascinated by history, so she prefers old console games, although she's very good at newer games too. She is very involved with the internet and has accounts on almost every social media site. Because of this, she unknowingly uses internet terms in normal conversations. She has a large number of online friends that she feels closer to than her real-life friends, and prefers to talk to them more than the others.

She's not very outgoing and likes to stay in her dorm mostly, either playing video games or watch television. She hates it when people interrupt her when she's playing, and often ends up lecturing whoever interrupts her.

Shizuka is also very creative. She's a very good artist, and often enjoys doing abstract art, since she can't stay focused enough to do an actual piece. She's also very spontaneous, and if you manage to pull her away from gaming in her dorm, she's always up for an adventure.

Because of her dyslexia, she gets made fun of sometimes, although she usually shrugs off the comments. She acts like she doesn't care, but she's actually very sensitive, and the snide remarks about her dyslexia really do hurt her. Her brother helped to train her to read, even with her dyslexia. Even though she has to take small pauses while reading and stutters sometimes, she can still read just fine. She panics and keeps stuttering if she's being pressured into reading quickly as a sign of distress. That being said, she has a habit of stuttering whenever she's too distressed, but that doesn't happen too often.

History: Shizuka was born to the Hamada family on June 26th, 1999. The family couldn't be happier with the birth of the girl, until she was seven.

When she was seven, she had confirmed her magical powers when her brother was being bullied by someone. Aggravated, she accidentally shot a ray on the bully. This brought the two siblings a lot closer.

This worried the parents. Their son had already showed signs of magic, when Shizuka was five and Katsuya was seven. They were playing a video game in which he lost, and out of frustration, shot a bolt at the television.

They knew that their children wouldn't be safe on Earth anymore, so they decided to do the best thing for all of them; move to Magix.

They settled on the planet of Zenith, as it was the planet that reminded them most of home.

Shizuka fell in love with the planet. The advanced technology and all the gadgets fascinated her. Her parents bought all kinds of video games for her and Katsuya, thus her love for gaming sparked. She would constantly play all kinds of video games, although she had an odd liking for history and old-fashioned things.

It made her stand out, that in a planet with such advanced technology, she would prefer old things.

When Shizuka started school, she already knew she was dyslexic, but never really thought it was a bad thing. However, when she began school, the students there were mostly of high intelligence. What didn't help was the fact that even her brother was fitting in better than she was, and he was quite popular. Her grades weren't the best, often going up and down, and the students berated her for it. Her brother stuck up for her, and defended her against anyone, causing fights with the other students, so Shizuka wasn't always picked on.

He also helped her study and helped her with other matters, thus further developing their relationship.

Around that time, Shizuka realised that eventually, in the future, her and her brother would be going their separate ways, since their intelligence isn't on the same level. That scared her, because he considered her brother to be her closest friend. Since then she's always tried her hardest to be close to him so she doesn't regret not being close to him in the future. Although she never realised this, the separation anxiety only applied to Katsuya, because he took more care of her than anyone, and she was more dependant on him than anyone.

Shizuka liked art classes the most. She painted whatever she felt like, and often did abstract paintings, although she loved drawing manga and anime characters; they reminded her of home.

Life continued on like this, but until high school, Shizuka decided she wanted to get out of her current school and transfer to Alfea.

When her parents asked why, she replied that Alfea has a stronger education and would help her learn to control her powers more. While that was, in fact, true, another major reason was that it was closer to Red Fountain, where her brother was enrolling.

She settled in Alfea just fine, and the bullying about her dyslexia was better, but it was still there occasionally. Other than that, Shizuka is perfectly happy at Alfea.
