Aisha and Nex are...!

This thread contains spoilers of the couple "Aisha and Nex". Reading is at your own risk of being spoiled; nobody will be held responsible if you have been spoiled.

So OH MY GOD! I was watching season 7 episode 4 in English and I have seen Aisha and Nex together! Now in episode 5 it is 100% confirmed canon! Yasss!! No more Roy! Roy was never Aisha's boyfriend; but he always used to be mean to Nex and tries to prove he's better than him to win Aisha. But in the end Nex ultimately won! Aisha and Nex aren't deemed "boyfriend and girlfriend" yet, but they're certainly lovers! Nex confessed his love to Aisha and they were about to kiss in their date in the restaurant but Aisha's fairy animal got in the middle and they kissed it instead!

Nex is a better choice to Aisha in my opinion, since he seems caring, tender, sweet, and loving to Aisha. Roy seemed to be just attracted by her for the only fact he wants a girlfriend - it never showed in the series that Roy actually holds feeling to Aisha to more than just her appearance. While Nex always seemed to be truly caring for Aisha; and he would put her in his heart and keep her for good!

I don't know about you guys but I'm so happy about this. Nex X Aisha is my favorite Aisha!Couple (Even more than Nabu to me) and I'm happy they ended up together!

If Aisha has gotten over her loss, I feel that the fandom can get over it to Razz

However, I still like AishaxNabu more though.

I think I might have to watch Season 6 to have a proper judgement on this though, I haven't seen enough of Nex tbh.

Good for Aisha, at least she can grow a relationship with Nex.

As much as I'm not for it, yet anyway, it's better than nothing. Nabu isn't coming back, and after Season 5 ended, he's dropped from the story. Roy I was iffy about, he wasn't able to fill the big shoes Nabu left. So I'm glad we got a genuine guy for Aisha to move forward with.

I'm sure Nabu was planning to come back, especially with that Sirenix Wish. Since it's been 4 years (air time) between Season 4 and 5, I figured there was no room to bring Nabu back for any reason. We had so many guys in Season 6, it was a little crazy.

Once I watch more of Season 7, I hope to see a lot of good for Aisha in her future love life.

We all have to move on from past relationships, which is why I find it easy to relate to Aisha.

People keep calling Nex a "bully," and I completely disagree. I was bullied from elementary school through most of high school, by both guys and girls. I know what it looks like and feels like. This was a rivalry, not a case of bullying.

Roy picked a fight with a stronger guy out of misplaced jealousy (Aisha wasn't his girlfriend). Both guys were being hotheaded, competitive, and aggressive, especially in the first few episodes. I think the fans call Nex a "bully" because he was more physical. Since Roy couldn't match his strength, he showed his aggression through verbal confrontation and dirty looks.

The fanbase is too soft on him. He wasn't an innocent victim being picked on. Not only did he start the love triangle, but he was the one who kept it alive most of the season. Nex (and Aisha) stopped paying much attention to him mid-season, so he just kept trying harder to rock the boat.

And I doubt he and Aisha would have become a couple even if Nex hadn't been introduced. Since Roy met her first, he had more time — almost a year — to develop a deep connection with her. But when season six started, he and Aisha were barely closer than they were in season five. They were still at the casual flirting stage, and they didn't show any physical affection for each other. That suggests they didn't have enough of a romantic spark between them.

I never liked Roy, not even before Nex showed up. I hate knight-like guys (he even talked like one). That's what he seemed like to me: pretentious, possessive, and overly protective. Aisha doesn't need a bodyguard.

Nex wanted to win her heart, but he didn't try to force her to choose him. He understood it was her decision (hence his "she likes who she likes" line). Roy acted like he was entitled to her.

Needless to say, I'm happy she chose Nex. I think the fans will warm up to him eventually — he's not as horrible as they think he is — and Roy will fade from their minds. They're only on his side right now because they don't like Nex. On his own, Roy was a flat, boring character who had almost no impact on the show.
