Police Station

First topic message reminder :

The police station is where the city police hold suspects and conduct whichever business is needed. It's a two story building made with sturdy walls. On the top floor you can see small windows while on the lower floors the windows are normally sized.

[Narrative]
When Diane looks around in the cell she can see a circular window with a translucent winder that was not made from glass, it was rougher making it hard to make out details of the outside. The window wasn't barred but the window looked quite thick and thoroughly embedded in the wall. Aside from a couple of cracks the walls were an uninterrupted rather rough looking gray, they hadn't bothered painting the wall or give any attention to the aesthetics of the cell at all. The bed showed heavy signs of ware and thing wiry strains of the metal frame seemed to come loose Some bigger parts of the frame didn't look particularly solid as well. The mattress itself was in no better shape. The metal sink and toiler showed some leaking from the left side of the metal construction.

When Kat looked up close at the bed, particularly the springy part that kept the mattress up she could see some rust stains and a couple of these springs unraveling providing thin, bent metal rods.

Kat kept looking at the metal rods, she felt as if they would help her but she couldn't figure out how. Suddenly she got an idea, Katherine quickly rushed over towards the bed and sat down on her knees. She grabbed a metal rod and tried to unlock the bracelet around her wrist. Come on, work!, she thought.

The rod softly scraps the inside of the bracelet, making contact with the tumblers inside. The small piece of metal moves along interior of the item, sometimes making progress, sometimes losing progress. After two minutes of fiddling, there is a click and the bracelet gently opening.

Kat was about to scream but stopped herself from doing so, she quickly got up and rushed towards Diane. She quickly tried to unlock her friend's bracelet as well.

Diane's bracelet wasn't as easy to unlock and there were tiny scraping sounds can be heard from the inside of it.

Ugh, open you stupid lock, Katherine said to herself as she continued to pick the lock of the bracelet.

The lock is slowly worked open, but the pick sticks for a moment at the final tumbler. At that time, the sounds of foot steps echo in the distance. Kat, hurry up and set Diane free!

Hearing foot steps, Kat quickly picks the lock and frees Diane "Act normal and hide your wrist!" she told Diane.

Diane frantically waved her arms around until deciding to sit on her hands.

The guard passes by the cell, looks at the two women briefly and walks back down the hall. A door is heard opening, before slamming shut. With the bracelets off, the girls can now use their magic to escape.
