seems like this thread vanished, as I couldn't find it Unsure

Anyways, this weekend I got to debut my Roxy cosplay, as well as my friend's Lovix Stella! She was the first Lovix cosplay ever!!! Very Happy

awesome! I thought I had also a topic made about cosplay.
I'm now starting to work on the Flora butterflyx, and I have made the wings for harmonix and 1st season flora allready I won second price in a major convention with my Flora Enchantix cosplay, and Qualified for finales of the next year with my Flora bloomix all handmade too! (and to real scale, so the wings are almost 80% of me...) (i love details)

So everyone, I finished my bloomix cosplay, togheter with my Stella and Bloom Sirenix.
We didn't win the competition but had fun making our costumes ourselves.

I just finished the butterflix wings. I'm just clueless about how I should start the dress. (the picture here is the unfinished wings but to give you the idea)

oh it's not about the wings I'm worried. They are finished, it's the butterflix dress. I have no clue how to do this... I will probably make a petticoat skirt like the lolita's wear. But how am I going to make those different coloured wings that are covering my skirt. if you look close it's really butterflywings as skirt (bit like the wings of harmonix were in the tranfosequence before they get lifted to their backs)
I thought about maybe making every colour seperate in the wings, but that will be too much work. Then I thought about making it out of shiny fabric with multicolours (but I'll need to find that somewhere) and maybe just make the skirt out of plastic or cardboard, but that won't be that beautiful... anyone any tips about the dress?
