The Central Courtyard

First topic message reminder :

The Central Courtyard is a large open space at the center of the school where students can sit and spend their free time. A Well through which the tunnels connecting Alfea, Red Fountain and Cloud Tower to each other can be accessed. When the moonlight shines on it, the well opens a portal, which leads to another dimension with lots water, where the map of the Infinite Ocean can be seen. A Public Square where functions such as the beginning of year and graduation ceremonies are done. It also serves as a landing space for flying ships.

Brianna comes out of the portal and lands on the paths and her shoes faintly click when she does. "Now to head to my dorm." She said before walking to the part of Alfea where the dorms are still carrying her suitcase.

"Thank you kindly," Nimueh expressed her gratitude as she let Artemis lead her to the dormitory. Using the sound of the fairy's footsteps and whatever changes she made to her composure, Nimueh confidently walked forwards at a steady pace.

Nimueh was decidedly a little quieter as they walked, but then again- she couldn't talk and try and memorise the layout of the courtyard particularly well at the same time... She managed to map out the form and the main paths from what she made of her senses.

Behind, she heard Faragonda close by and knowing the headmistress would come with them- Nimueh did her best to look as capable as she could. She was going to get through this year and she was going to do it without all the unnecessary fussing she was used to.

(So we move to Dorm 2 now, right?)

Artemis was glad to lead a very possible new friend inside.

Meanwhile her fashion and hair would stand out for clearly being vernian. As the same for the big metal array at the side of the courtyards that every so often buzzed, clicked and made other mechanical noises

"No i just got here." Zayn states. "Roxas said i might enjoy alfeas allot since it has allot of intresting places, i got told theres a really good music cafe around here. I may need to check it out and see if they have any turntables and laptops so i can remix a set up"

Carter sat by the pavement reading her book, "I hope it doesn't rain anytime soon. Otherwise, it will be whole day long indoors for me... In that stupid pool. Ugh, I'm glad the Headmistress put it there and all, but I just wish she put a better lock in the door, because one of these days a blabber mouth will find out about my secret, thank goodness that blabber mouth isn't Brenda." she mumbled to herself whilst she stares at the sky.

Cadence nodded. "The music cafe is totally rad, and my favourite place in Alfea. So I guess your a DJ then? What kinds of music do you listen to?" She asked, interested in knowing more about Zayn.

Carter began to hum to herself, and soon it's turned into singing. "I might have to wait, I'll never give up. I guess it's half timing and the other half's luck. Wherever you are, whenever it's right. You'll come out of nowhere and into my life..." she continued to sing.

Noko, bored out of her mind had decided to stop by the Courtyard. Whilst walking around, she heard a girl singing, "Michael Buble...Haven't heard that in a while." she decided to approach the girl. Sitting next to the girl with some distance, she began to converse with her."So, you're a new student here right?" she asked.

Carter stopped singing and looked to her right, "Oh- hi. Uh yes, yes I am. Well I have been here for a couple of months." she replied. She then looked carefully at the girl, and Noko's silver hair had fascinated her. "Do you mind if I touch your hair? It's just...So pretty." she added.

Noko blushed and nodded, "Sure." Upon Carter's touch of her hair, Noko's crescent mark suddenly appeared and a vision appeared within Noko's sight. "At-Atlantis..." she mumbled. She then looked at Carter carefully. "By any chance, do you know anyone named Isabella Augustine?" she asked,

Carter looked confused by this, thus she decided to just answer straight, "No, I do not, I'm sorry." she replied.

Noko shook her head and decided to dismiss the rest of her question. 'She can't be Mum's...no.' she thought. "Never mind. Gotta say, I love your silver highlights, it's so rare to find someone having silver as their hair colour." she said. Carter nodded as agreement to this remark and the two continued to converse about their times at Alfea.

Several students pass the two as they talk, some glancing over, while others just ignore them.

The Winx also enter the courtyard with their luggage, wondering what to do for the rest of the evening.

Photonis stood before Alfea's gate. "This is what you fought for," she mumbled to herself as she stepped inside. She looked displaced as she instantly observed the entire place and all the people in it, along with awe for the marvel since she had only left the slums of Spaika's scraplands for the very first time mere hours ago.

She still wore her scrapland clothes, a shirt that once had a colorful print on it but was now indistinguishable except for some slight discoloration of the fabric and a knee high skirt with several patches on it from varying materials, a disaster for every fashionista. The only thing that did match was the green color of all her clothing, along with her uneven, long and spiky hair and her eye color. One could conclude these were magically augmented.

Not knowing where she had to go or who to talk to she stood still a couple dozen meters before Alfea's entrance, looking around to see if she could see where she had to go, yet visibly apprehensive to ask anyone for help.
