The Central Courtyard

The Central Courtyard is a large open space at the center of the school where students can sit and spend their free time. A Well through which the tunnels connecting Alfea, Red Fountain and Cloud Tower to each other can be accessed. When the moonlight shines on it, the well opens a portal, which leads to another dimension with lots water, where the map of the Infinite Ocean can be seen. A Public Square where functions such as the beginning of year and graduation ceremonies are done. It also serves as a landing space for flying ships.

Getting pummeled and beaten by shards of ice headed her way as soon as the effect from the song dissipated Daphne once again flailed madly shooting her Flame spiral and Dance of the leaves in all direction, intercepting some of the shard of ice though that seem to backfire as well as the hundreds of splinters now blinded Daphne since some landed in her eyes. The rendered Daphne unable to anticipate the rocketing Fairy that followed swiftly after the wave of icy shards subdued.

Flawlessly Genevieve managed to pull off the maneuver thanks to Diana's devastating barrage of charmix fueled ice shards.

In the meanwhile, while others still fought Zaflore searched for those most grievously wounded, casted 'Aurora's mending' on those she found and helped other finding their way to the school nurse, trying to get as many people back on their feet as she could.

"Not this time." Roll grunts, slashing his sword, which had a yellow aura at the incoming spell. The spell and sword meet and the young man begins to push with his might against it. After a few seconds, he pushes back hard enough that the spell is deflected through the window of the potions lab.

"All right!" she yelled, as she dropped Daphne down on the ground after all the damage she received as she dragged her from her hair. She quickly manages to stop the launchers behind her to land on the floor, with a bit of an awkward landing, but managed to step up to her legs eventually.

"Never underestimate the abilities of a support fairy!" she proudly said, as had caught up her breath finally.

Amara flew out of the way of an incoming spell, which just barely missed her.

"Disco Ball!" Cadence casted the sphere shield around her.

Mina flew over to Genevieve. "That was great! You did really well Genevieve!" She beamed at her friend. She casted a bit more healing magic on some of the injured students from where she was.

Daphne gets dragged to the ground. She felt her limbs being heavy as lead, perhaps even heavier. The toll of her rampage was being payed. However her face still expressed naught but sheer hatred and wrath the rest of her body simply no longer complied to the corruption's whims. During her ragged breathing sitting on her knees and hands she shouted unintelligible things in piercingly high pitch tones. Whenever someone would come close she would fling an arm trying to hit someone with another flame spiral or dance of the leaves. Her attempts to materialize the spell succeeded as often as it failed, making some swings of the arm merely look clumsy accompanied with the trouble Daphne had maintaining balance on her hands and knees.

With his cousin down, Roll slowly walks over to her and Gene. Once he was some fifteen feet away, he looks down at her with pity. One of the greatest fairies reduced to this kind of madness. "Daphne, give me the gems, so I can give them back to Flora and Stella." He had his sword still out and charged, but he felt weird for some reason. He just let that feeling slide, waiting for her to answer.

As with the rest whom approached A badly aimed attempt to hit him with a spell utterly failed and ultimately made her lose her balance making her fall to the side. Wide eyed, still breathing raggedly she recovered her previous pose and bellowed a wordless scream to Roll, she seemed too far gone to compose even something slightly intelligible in words. She would try three more times, all fruitlessly to launch a spell to Roll, unwilling despite her utter defeat to give up that what she had fought for to begin with.

"Yeesh, our professor sure needs some urgent treatment," she remarked, as she turns to Mina.

"Yeah, I'm glad I was able to pull through two fights in a day and still manage to appear victorious in a sense. I always thought I'm useless - till today," she explained in a tired tone to her princess.

Jenny was more or less exhausted from the fighting that occurred throughout the day, right now she couldn't wish for anything more than a warm relaxing bed.

"Wished the day would go even more intense," she sarcastically spoke out loudly enough for Roll and Mina to hear her.

Ortensia walks into Alfea to notice all the wreckage that had occurred. She was away for a while - and what she saw was more than to believe.

"What in the great name of Dolona happened here?!" she demanded a question.
