"Well, I'm friends with the guy running the portal joint down in Magix. I think when I inform him about a new arrival from Jule he'll be very exited and also he likes his name on the project of establishing the traveling route. So I guess it's in the mutual interest of the both of you to have the thing up and running as soon as possible. I'll make sure to write the letter today and send it," Matrim said and smiled broadly, already envisioning him roaming through Verne, beeing the first one to observe and document a newly discovered culture.

Artemis nodded and would smile very happely before suddenly stopping "that is not the issue.." She mumbled "the issue is on how to reach home by signal and get one back again" she told him "I know the coding they use here... It's one of our older ones" she explained "but my idea was to send one in trinary instead of binary. It's unkown of outside Jule as far as I've heared... So if they'll get one from abroad they'll know how to translate" she fished in her pockers and held up a disk and let electricity run trough it as it started giving a sequence of 3 types of clicks that lasted for half a minute "I kinda been hanging around in the workshop a lot.." She laughed a bit

"If you could give a basic explanation of how to send a trinary signal they might just pull it off, I know the guy and he is good, then again I really don't know a lot about how the tech exactly functions so I could also be making an empty promise here," Matrim replied sounding only a tad but uncertain though the traces were there. "You know what? Let's head to the dining hall, all this talking left me parched and I could use another cup of coffee after this early morning announcement.

Artemis nodded and swopped the plates and cups up from the table "couldn't agree more!" She quicklt headed to the door "I'm dying for something sugary" she tells him "anyhow. Can I go ahead or want a shoulder to lean on?" She offered some support for the path to the dining hall

"Oh you go ahead, I'll find my way to the dining hall, I'm just not that fast," he said as he got up from his chair, heavily relying on his staff and the desk for balance.

Stopping in front of the door in the staff dorms that belong to Matrim, Snow stops and softly knocks on the door.

"Coming," A male's voice spoke inside the room which was followed by the scraping of the chair and what seemed to be a struggle to be hasty. A couple of inaudible muffled mumbles were heard as well before the door opened. "Why hello there lass," he said in a friendly manner when he invited her in. The room smelled a but rank, indicating the man had spend a lot of time inside which also showed on his desk that was covered in stacks of paperwork. "I'm sorry for the mess, Been working a lot," he stated apologetically.

"Hello sir." Snow begins, her noise picking up the scent as she walks into the room. It only slightly bothered her, but she could tolerate it. "I don't mind the mess at all. I need your help with something. It pertains to something that happened on Isis two days ago."

Matrim's eyes tightened a bit. "Wait, isn't Diaspro's princess ball today?" he asked and at the same time his curiosity grew since he already knew this was about something else than royalty. "Very well, tell me what happened," he said with sincere curiosity while grabbing a blank sheet of paper and dipping his quill to take notes of whatever Snow had to say. "By the way, just call me Matrim."

"It is, but I wasn't invited." Snow begins looking for a place to sit if there was one. "Well, Matrim sir, two days ago there was an earthquake on Isis. Myself and several students went to check the source of this quake and we found a golem made of gems. This golem had been hibernating, but the mining company hurt it and woke up it. I was...able to read its mind a bit to discover some of these facts."
