The Swan Lake

First topic message reminder :

A lake which attracts lots of swans and is the perfect place to go on a romantic boat ride! There is also the legend of the swan princess that might have a certain connection with this lake.

Many years ago, a powerful Wizard named Rothbart had cursed a group of guardian fairies with the swan curse. By day, they are swans, and by night only if they are at the lake, that they go back to their normal form but they would have much of their magic energy depleted. After the defeat of Rothbart, the descendants of the swan maidens had always been swan maidens but it was no longer a curse. They could now control their transformations. The Swan Maidens know most about this lake and are the ones who protect this memorial place.

Mina gasped as soon as she realized who the swans were. "No Eros, don't!"

The arrow dematerialized before it hit the swans. The waves that Ortensia created whirled around the swans as the glowed brightly, appearing to be going under a transformation. The waves calmed down into still water at the same time the shape-shifting finished and a group of beautiful maidens were in their place instead.

"The hell?" Genevieve glances at the beautiful women approaching and becomes instantly becomes ready to transform any second, "Do you know anything of these... swan/female/women/whatever thingies Mina?" she questions her in an alarmed tone.

"What in the heavens did you do that for?" Finn said in outrage at the specialist who loosed an arrow on a swan, turning away from the swans to look at whoever had shot at them.

He shot a glare as he looked at Eros. "We don't even know for sure if those swans have harmful intentions, killing them needlessly isn't going to solve anything! They're swans not-" Finn started before turning to see that in the place of the swans were a group of young women.

He stood there dumbfounded for a few moments, before thinking to act. "Ummm...Hi there," Finn smiled, unsure of what else there was to do in the situation.

Photonis laid a hand on the angry Finn. "Sometimes when you find out something isn't friendly, it's too late. Don't condemn the man's actions because he acted rash, applaud him for if they were hostile, he would have eliminated part of the threat," Photonis said. Then her attention got directed to the transforming Swans but her reaction was a lot less taken aback than the others. "Well this is interesting," she said but with a slight tone of 'Is that all' hinting in her voice, making her almost sound disappointed.

"You wanna get killed bu a bird, be my gues however im not going to take any chances and end up dead because i thought a bird was freindly. " he hisses back at finn. "Always keep your guard up. That if you insist on surviving.".

"What- How?", Aimée says surprised and waits for them to say who they are.

"The only thing they did was glow." Amara reminded Eros. "If glowing really makes you wanna murder people than I suggest you learn how to self control since our transformations involve a lot of flashing lights." She said in a sarcastic tone.

"They aren't evil and they are important to this lake." Mina interrupted the bickering group before looking back at the swan maidens. "I've seen them before..."

The swan maidens walked on the water gently, only letting a few ripples go through the water until they were at the shore of the lake, right infront of the group. "We are the swan maidens, the mythical guardians of swan lake." The leader of the swan maidens said as she locked eyes with Genevieve. "We recall you and your companions arriving at this location at an earlier time and you caught our attention and curiosity."

"Wait, what? My companion? Who, what, where?" she questions but suddenly backs off as she knows such creatures could be alluding and cunning.

"Genevieve, that was your name, wasn't it?" The leader said with a serious yet gentle expression. "You came here to this lake at an ancient time, and once protected it with your companions."
