The Central Courtyard

The Central Courtyard is a large open space at the center of the school where students can sit and spend their free time. A Well through which the tunnels connecting Alfea, Red Fountain and Cloud Tower to each other can be accessed. When the moonlight shines on it, the well opens a portal, which leads to another dimension with lots water, where the map of the Infinite Ocean can be seen. A Public Square where functions such as the beginning of year and graduation ceremonies are done. It also serves as a landing space for flying ships.

"You're lucky Bloom is perfectly fine Roland." Stella says sternly, "Thanks for interrupting my tan." With a small huff, she walks back to her chair.

"Stella, that's not how to treat someone who cast their first spell and you know it" Bloom said as she came ear shot of the two, "For goodness sakes, what's more important? Someone's achievement or yourself?"

"Someones Achievement." Stella remarks to her, but her eyes shown with concern, "But are you alright after being hit with that spell of his?"

"At least he didn't put an object on fire like I did" Bloom replied and walked over to Roll, smiling at him.

"Yeah, sorry about that." Roll says quietly to Bloom, feeling rather guilty over it. "The spell kind of curved from away from where I was trying to aim it."

"Hey, at least you didn't cause any serious harm. A first spell is something important to a person, no matter how uncontrolled it is. Trust me on this. My first time using magic on my own, and I caused my bed on fire on the first mixer we went to. I was upset about it since I wasn't paying attention" Bloom told Roll, "So don't feel sorry about it. I know it was an accident."

Roll looks away from her for a second, then turns his head to her after she finishes speaking, "Took nearly four years to even get one simple spell. I'm unsure if I should be happy about it or not, due to the outcome. Still, it's just a spell, it's not that big of a deal." He was still going to feel guilty over what he did. He was however glad to have his first spell, but he wasn't gonna let on that he was. "I'll...try not to be upset over it. I think I rather set the forest on fire again then have someone hurt." He said coolly to her. He didn't even know if Bloom was aware of that massive backfire last year that took place before the Trix went back in time.

Bloom places her hands over Roll's shoulders as she speaks. "I'm glad you're taking it better that way. You'll see, you'll be able to do much more. You just need time and practice! I'm sure you'll feel a lot more comfortable with your powers by time."

The boy looks away slightly, not wanting to look Bloom in the eye. He even flinches slightly when he feels her hands on his shoulders. "I'm not sure if I can do more later. What if this was just fluke? All the time and practice won't help one bit." Deep down, this had been eating at him. This wasn't even his primary element, as Luna had said, he was a butt backward messed up mage knight.

"Come on Roll, I'm sure you'll be able to continue on this progress! Here, let me feel your energy." She takes the palm of his hand, and touches it with her right hand. Her body begins to glow in orange-red; her hair a bit flowing in the air. She closes her eyes, and her eyes squint a little. Hmmm? What's this?

"Wow Roll, your powers..have improved..greatly! She said with a smile." "How..how did he get that strong..something feels..off.. "Your powers are great and I'm sure your powers and spells will increase if you keep it up that way!" In her thoughts, Bloom was a bit in a shock; something extraordinary must have happened to Roll to get this much better, she thought.
