The grande hall where most royal events and balls take place, with balconies overlooking the main floor on the second story. A grand double staircase lined with balustrades is positioned at the entrance. One central crystal chandelier surrounded by four smaller ones adorns the high ceiling. A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows allows for a perfect view of the night sky.

Harmony strode up to the announcer.
"Harmony from Melody. I'm a schoolmate of hers" she said.

"No last name either huh?" The man mutters, finding the girl on the list. "Harmony of Melody!' The man cries loudly.

Harmony went into the hall and headed to one of the corners.

As Kimberly heard the name of her roommate being called, she looks around a bit from where she was to find her in a corner before heading over to her despite the crowd of people.

"Brianna, sweety, this is where you can put what you have learnt. Go, talk to other guests" she said, "There will be other events like this that you would have to attend, so use this as a chance to build up relations."

Harmony looked around and spotted Zaflore.
"Zaf!" she called out and headed in Zaf's direction.

At first Zaf looked around herself a little befuddled not realizing where the voice had come from until she saw Harmony. She smiled a little and greeted her "Hey, you look stunning!" she said, complimenting her on the outfit.

"Sir Brenhart, tell me about what you do," she asked in a bored voice. She had looked over the crowd several times already and found some folks she wanted to exchange words with, but without her... companion... "I'd love to hear about it," she said in order to lure the man into spouting as much as possible about himself.

"I am in charge of employment compensation in several mining operations, including my companies large stake in one of the bigger operations over on Isis." The man says proudly, with a smirk, "I have to say, there are so many suckers that thing we should pay them more just because they work so hard. They are using the machines, we in the offices work harder than they do."

A sly smile flashed for an instance on her face. "Of course you do! You're the head, and without a head any body is useless," she said in an understanding voice. "Too bad so few realize that," she said and leaned into the man a little. "And how do you intend to deal with the unruly ones?"

Branhart returns with a smirk and speaks softly to the woman, "The standard response is to dock pay, but I really don't like that. We extend their hours by trapping them in the mines and arrest them after for trespassing. If that doesn't work, we apply pain, give minor threats and if those don't work, they may met something unfortunate.."

"Pain you say?" she asked, fully sincere for a change. "You've got my curiosity now," she added, pretty much foregoing on different plans set out for the evening. "I might even have some pointers for you if you're nice to me," she said, half taunting.
