THE STORM BEGINS
Ever since they were eleven, Kyoto and her BFFs (best fairy friends) have had a Halloween sleepover: fun, games and spooky stories galore! This year, however, is going to be special - they’re finally going to have it at Alfea College.
However, a storm headed straight for the area around Alfea threatens to ruin their plans. Determined not to let the weather ruin an event that she’s been planning for years, Kyoto invites her friends to the now evacuated Alfea College where she will have the whole school to herself. But when things start going terribly wrong fast, the girls know that this isn’t a matter of having fun anymore - it’s a matter of survival.

Name: Kyoto
Clever, witty and sarcastic, Kyoto enjoys daring adventures and exploration.
Power: Stars
Appearance: Kyoto has tangled red hair that she wears in two braids pinned on top of her head. Her eyes are dark green and she has a spray of freckles across her nose. She wears a sweater and jeans underneath her leather jacket that she rarely ever takes off.
Personality: Humorous, adventurous, daring, impulsive
Fairy Level: Charmix
Importance in Story: Kyoto gets everyone into this mess. 
Name: Cassidee
Quiet and brooding, Cassie is bristly on the edges but caring once known well. People often have a difficulty trusting Cassie because of her power of illusion.
Power: Illusion
Appearance: Cassie has short, jawline level black hair (much like a 1920s flapper hairstyle) and violet eyes that tend to turn black when she is angry or upset. She wears a black tank top with a sapphire choker necklace, as well as floral leggings and brown combat boots.
Personality: Cold (except with her friends), calculating, quiet, cryptic
Fairy level: Charmix
Importance in Story: Cassie seems to have an idea of what is going on, though she refuses to share it with anyone.

Name: Jem
Jem is often categorized as a typical blonde by those who do not know her, but to her friends and family, Jem is quite clever.
Power: Music
Appearance: Jem has curly blonde hair with barely discernible pink streaks and emerald green eyes with long, dark lashes. Her style is very girly - she wears a red, high waisted skirt and crop top with, “Love” written across it. She has lots of jangle bracelets on her arm and wears brown sandals.
Personality: Giggly, girly, joyful, optimistic
Fairy level: Charmix
Importance in Story: With her disarming personality and hidden intellgence, Jem is able to gain information from suspects who might be responsible for the storm.
Name: Kass
Kass is the nerd of the group. With her remarkable intelligence, she is often the brains behind the plans made by the group of friends.
Power: Ice
Appearance: Kass has sun-kissed brown hair and hazelnut colored eyes. She always puts on a violent tone of red lipstick. She has a careless sense of style and is often found in a tattered hoodie and jeans with mud splattered sneakers.
Personality: Bookish, intelligent, witty, slightly shy
Fairy level: Charmix
Importance in Story: Since she is so smart, she is key in figuring out how to survive during the storm.

Name: Will
Will is a wizard found roaming around the outskirts of Alfea College as the story progresses. He is suspiciously silent and refuses to explain his presence.
Power: Weather
Appearance: Will has tousled blonde hair and cold grey eyes. He wears a brown bomber jacket and cargo pants, as well as tall, heavy boots. He also has a leather bracelet on his right hand. Will has a small scar under his left eye.
Personality: Easily frustrated, distant, private, protective
Importance in Story: Will is able to control the weather, but is unable to figure out and control the oncoming storm.
Name: Tyler
Valiant and courageous, Tyler is a Specialist who offered to guard the group of girls who decided to stay at the evacuated Alfea College.
Power: None.
Appearance: Tyler has spiky black hair, tanned skin and warm blue eyes. He is seen wearing the typical Specialist outfit, and his sword never leaves his side (needless to say, he is the heartthrob of Alfea College at the moment).
Personality: Prince Charming has got nothing on Tyler. Valiant, courageous and dashing, Tyler is known to sweep Alfea fairies off their feet. However, he's got a little known reputation for disappearing for days at a time from Red Fountain, only to show up days later claiming not to remember where he's been.
Importance in Story: He guards the fairies and alerts them to danger, though as the story progresses, his behavior becomes odd and unpredictable - dangerous, even.
