Cadence had entered the dorm. She remembered when she told her parents she didn't really make any friends last year. She smiled a bit remembering what her father said. "You can make friends, as long as they aren't BOYfriends!

Clef flew in circles around Zalfore for no reason at all.

"Hey Zaflore! How are you and how was your summer?" she asked as she got up to hug her friend.

Zaflore greeted Cadence when she entered and watched bemused as another pixie than usually hoovered around her. Only when Cadence followed she recognized the Pixie as Clef, Cadence's cohort. "Hey there Cadence!" Zaflore exclaimed. She turned back from the distraction to answer Brenda's question; "Summer was busy, I had to retake the transmogrification finals and barely passed them. But the second half of summer was great, I finally got to spend some quality time with my family again and I hung with Bloom and Roxy in Gardinia!" She said. "And what have you been up to?"

Camilla First shied away when Clef hoovered around Zaflore but soon enough joined in with Clef, Causing two Pixies to orbit Zaflore, entangled in what almost could be called a playful dance.

"Oh...uh...hey Zalfore." Cadence said, after she sat on the couch.

"My summer's been great. I met some new friends here at Alfea and I've been training my vocals during the summer with Noko. We are actually going to perform at the mixer so I hope you'll enjoy it" Brenda replied to Zaflore jumping out of excitement.

"That definitely sounds fun! I'll make sure not to miss it!" Zaflore said and smiled with glee expressing she shared the excitement Brenda felt. When Zaflore redirected her attention to Cadence. It made her think of herself, before she finally faced the facts that she couldn't keep people at a distance all the times. How often she had wished someone talked to her during that time, so exactly that she did; "Cadence, how was your summer?" She inquired, something simple to start a conversation.

Meanwhile Clef and Camilla had started talking to one another but had moved their orbiting to Cadence. However amusing Zaflore found the aerial dance the pixie and pet commenced, the many circles made her slightly dizzy.

"I went on a tour and did a few concerts plus a bit of acting." Cadence said. "Do you know how I can get involved with perhaps performing a song at the mixer? So I need something to keep myself preoccupied."

"A performer, now what I did not expect from someone as shy as she is," Zaflore thought and looked somewhat confused towards Cadence. "I guess Brenda can tell you how to get in, I'm not really the performing type myself so I haven't looked into the matter," She said smiling slightly. "I'm more of the spectator kind, who is in the crowd and doesn't have to face it thank god" She said, the last thing under her breath.

"It really isn't that hard to be infront of a crowd. Well it does depend on what you are performing I suppose." Cadence said, pushing a lock of her neon blue hair back. "Like performing with Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber is completely different levels of performing."

"The only think I'll achieve when I start singing is people leaving the room faster than they would when a blazing inferno raged through it," Zaflore stated poetically implying her singing skills aren't just bad but atrocious.

Camilla had grown tired of the circling around Cadence and sat herself on the trunk that still hoovered just behind Zaflore who had been too caught up in the conversation to put the thing in her room.
