A forest. A usual green forest. But the truth about its magic is that this whole forest is made up out of evergreen plants. It's said if you spend some time here, your body will magically become energetic.

"Well this looks bad" katsuya snarkily staing seeing as he was venrable. Without thinking he casted one of his attacks at the bugs direction before running for cover. "Static winds" he chanted. Running in the opposite direction from his spell. Seeming unsure what to do.

Asami cried out in pain. Clutching her arm. Gritting her teeth while doing so.

The bird that was diving at Asami comes with in feet of her and fires off a large blue bolt of lighting at the girl, before swooping up in the air so it couldn't be countered.

Meanwhile, the avian who had ran into the tree slowly regains its barrings and slowly flies up, ignoring the fire that is in the dry grass that is slowly spreading through it.

Being hit by the lightning asami fell backwords, letting out a growl of frustration and agony. Wearily atemping to stand, she lifted her right arm. Aiming her sword at the bird whp attacked her, before flinging the blade in the air towards the birds direction, even if her right arm was not good at throwing.

Her legs eventually gave out anf she fell to the grpund once again. Scrapping her knees. Letting out a cry of pain.

The bird was arching back around for another attack, when the sword that Asami had thrown, scraps past it's side and pierces into it's hind quarters. A large bleeding gash is exposed on it's left flank and the creature has trouble lifting higher into the air.

"This time I won't miss! Whips of Electricity!" Lolina summoned two whips which she hurls forcefully; sending an electrical magical attack towards the bird with the sword stuck in it.

The sword acts like a lighting rod and the bird screams in pain as the electrical current runs through its body, over loading its heart and brain. The bird falls to the ground, arcs of electrical power passing over the smoking body. One of the leg twitches, but there is no more movement from this bird.

Cadence was flying through the forest, following the sound of yelling. Finn and her hadn't been able to find anything until thought she heard Genevieve's voice and thought it was a good time to regroup. She finally reached the group but noticed them fighting some giant mutated bug. "I know we only came here to find some teachers but I'm honestly not surprised that we're in scenario like from The Deadly Mantis."."

She casted music waves towards the insect. "Vibration of Waves!"

These animals aren't normal. They are monsters... Fauna tried to tell herself that. But she still couldn't erase the feeling of wanting to stab everyone who was so carelessly attacking them as it reminded her too much of her experiences on her home-island. "Dang it, at least let me try to talk with it!" She casted some of her animal speaking magic to one of the birds to try and understand why it was attacking them.

The spell managed to be used on the bird that had just flown back up that had hit the tree, "Eat prey, destroy creatures, spread chaos." The bird cawed and it begins to laugh and speak further nonsense. It eventually circles back around, blasting an electrical beam at Fauna. "Girl enemy! Must pun..." The bird begins as the spell wears off.

The fire that is spreading through the grass, reaches several branches and grows larger.

Genevieve looks around -- she suddenly can't see Natalie. "Where is she?!" she thought to herself. "Was she taken a hostage by the bugs? That plant was almost sentient I'm afraid yelling this information out loud might warn it or something.. what do I do girl what do I do!" she hastily thought, unsure what to assess from this situation.
