Appearance: She has straight, dark auburn hair that goes down to her tailbone, large icy blue eyes, and porcelain light skin. She loves to wear various shades of blue. Her favorite everyday outfit is a cobalt blue crop shirt, dark blue jeans, and silver wedges. She also loves to wear her white frilled sundress. She owns one formal dress, which is an icy-blue gown with a sparkled bodice and frilled skirt. Most of her outfits are very girly and breezy.

Personality:Contrary to what most people would assume, Diane is a very warm, kind person. She prefers summer and heat over winter and cold, despite her powers being weakest then. She is a very bubbly girly girl and loves food. She doesn't like dressing up in extravagant outfits. She loves swimming and hates most snow-related activities. Since the accident with her best friend when she was 8, she's feared and despised ice. Though her powers indeed have given her a somewhat new perspective on the beauty of it, and has learned to accept it. Diane can seem a bit eccentric at times and her way of logic can be a bit twisted, and she's willing to do crazy things for her friends, even if she has misguided (but well meaning) intentions.
History: Diane was born on May 30th, at 11:58 PM; a mere 10 minutes before her twin sister, Ruby, was born. Their parents are Clara and David Johnson. She grew up on Eraklyon, with her small lower-class family. Their parents could barely support themselves, but they managed to. Unfortunately, however, their parents could not support both twins at the time, and they were forced to give up Ruby for adoption. They kept this secret from Diamond about her twin for years.
When Diamond was 8, her best friend Carina died by slipping through a thin patch of ice on a lake when she was ice skating. It was a tragic loss and from then on Diane hated and feared ice.
The truth finally came out about her twin when Diamond was 10. She had been rummaging through her old photo albums and found a photo of herself and Ruby as infants, and asked her parents about whom the other infant in the photo was. At that point, her parents revealed the truth to her. Diane was shocked that her parents would keep such a huge secret from her, but she eventually moved on.
When she was 12, she began to show signs of her ice powers. She
feared these powers and had a hard time controlling them from the start. She slowly struggled to teach herself how to control her magic but managed to gain adequate control after two years, though her magic continued to be very unstable at times.
When she was 15, Diamond ran into a young girl her age at a coffee shop, with a strikingly similar resemblance. She asked the girl about her name and her past and they quickly realized they were each other's lost twin. The girls became best friends, and Ruby got to meet her birth parents. By the time the girls were 16, they both enrolled for Alfea college, through scholarship.
