I GOT BULLIED JUST BECAUSE I LIKE WINX CLUB, JUSTIN BIEBER, MYTHBUSTERS, AND BARBIE. I GOT CALLED A GEEK BECAUSE I AM REALLY SMART AND THAT I HAVE NO FRIENDS BUT I DO. You guys have no idea how much this hurts me and the person that is keeping me strong to keeping liking what I like is sailoreric97 because he is around my age and is a boy who collects dolls and that is amazing so he is still making me strong after I got bullied

Bullies are people that are insecure with themselves and bully others to make them feel better.Bullies are cowards who can't face the truth.

Most likely it's because they want to fit in or secretly have a passion for what you like but don't have the courage to branch out like you do. they also want to "fit" in with the cool kids and the only way to do that is to terroize others. Or they have a bad household life but in the end you may never know what happens. I was bullied in middle school and to be quite honest I could care less about what others think about me. It was my parents who made a big deal out of it. Have you told your parents about this? Do they hurt you physically?

Ugh bullying.It annoys me so much.And people like you certainly don't deserve it.While I don't like Justin Bieber much and don't even know what Mythbusters is, bullying isn't acceptable in ANY form.I get bullied literally wherever I go and yeah it's really hurtful and harsh.But you gotta focus on the people who don't support that and love you, people like us.You're a great person and if anyone bullies you again just ignore them and focus on your friends.~~Then murder them maybe.~~

Bullies are just kids who have also been picked on in the past and they decide they are going to start . They are hiding in their feelings to show That they are tough that's why you have to stand up for yourself and don't let them bully you.
My friends ( ex friends) used to pick on me cause I like Justin Bieber and that I still watch cartoons (my 30 year old brother still watches it Laughing

i believe that people should be allowed to be themselves and not have to be forced to conform to a mold or be bullied for them being different. When i was in school I was bullied for many reasons, including disability, gender identity and expression, and many others; and was threatened with physical violence should i have told any one. The threats of violence and the weight of bullying got so bad i actualy wanted to end my life at that time and was checked into a mental hospital for such wanting to end my life. In short, bullying can really messs someone up pretty bad if it's constant enough. I believe that no person should be bullied based on any metric because we are all unique and that's what makes us awesome is that we are all like snowflakes.

No one should be bullied for any reason!

two of my favorite songs have to do with bullying and being an individual:

Mythbusters is the most unreasonable considering it's educational,
Justin Bieber is more complicated, are you being bullied because you like the music? You can point out that art is subjective, meaning all it takes is ONE person to call it good, and that makes it good. I can understand criticism if you like him as a person, because he's actually a very bad person (though that's the fault of the music industry making him their puppet and his Mom for not trying to raise him to have values once he started making money) but even then, it's not like your bullies would be fans of Mother Theresa or the Dali Llama.
As for Barbie and Winx Club, it's pretty immature for your bullies to harp on you for something you enjoy, just because you're older then it's intended age group. Point out that you were four last time you said you didn't like something because it was meant for babies, and that should shut them up.

Finally; you are an individual, not a sheep. They are not special, they are not some magical, all-knowing force of wisdom, and how YOU choose to live YOUR life is not up to them. If they are mocking, cruel, and isolating, then they are not leaders, and you have no reason to follow them.

I'm going out on a limb here and goign to tell a story that's not really mine to tell but rather my girlfriend's, then again I know her policy about sharing stuff "if it's going to positively impact someone's life, share it.":

My girlfriend is named Krystal Nicole Meyers, but because she was born mute, we at work and those closest to her call her "Siri" or "Siri Nicole" because of the voice she uses from her ipod. She herself would get bullied at school the other kids would tell her to "talk because they knew she could and she was just being hard to work with and stupid..." she had a preprogrammed message on her speech app which read the following:

Bawss.

People are foolish to say 'just ignore it', because that is advise from someone who was never bullied, or doesn't remember being bullied. These people don't stop just because they don't get a reaction, they try HARDER and their actions get WORSE. The same goes with any antisocial behavior, and these people will continue to act this way unless responded to the RIGHT way.
The trick is to not show weakness, don't stoop to their level, and make it clear you will not be pushed around.
