Appearance:
- Spoiler:
Strengths: Her creative arts (music, visual arts), having a keen eye on details and covering for others i.e letting them copy her homework so they won’t fail.
Weaknesses: Cooking, Silence (phobia), and not handling the unexpected.
Personality: Harmony is a very quirky and carefree mer-creature, but can also be able to be serious when need be. She’s also caring and is there for anyone. Harmony can be loud sometimes which can get her into trouble. Harmony has also this thing of trusting people, foe or not, even if it’s not true, to the point that she becomes quite gullible. During team assignments, she is determined to do her best, and won’t let anyone be left behind. She has an semi-organised mind, which is shown throughout her art (bit of planning before going completely abstract) but when it comes to her school work, she is more of a scatterbrain and usually misplace some of her textbooks.
History: She was born in the waters of Melody to a normal family, but she’s the only child. As she was growing up, she discovered she had sound powers from her father’s side by playing with some other kids in the neighbourhood. She was pretending to do a chant, but accidently released some sound waves. Since it was translated into water ripples, it hit on a cliff nearby, causing it to break some rocks, frightening the other children. This frightened the other kids, and they got out of there just in time. Though she was in trouble for putting the other kids in danger, her parents ended up enrolling in a specialist boarding school for gifted Merpeople at the age of 7, mostly for her gift in the creative arts. There she blossomed, with learning how to sing which was her favourite thing to do. However, she didn’t start to learn to control her powers till she was around 12. During the holidays, Harmony tries her best to help out around the house. Sadly, she has tried to burn the house down on numerous occasions by cooking. On Harmony’s 14th birthday, her parents sent her a special heart shaped pendant. But when she first touch it, she felt this odd feeling, and somehow in some mysterious way (no joke), her powers got sucked in, and rendered her powerless for quite a while. However, it did grant her the first ability to become human when she leaves the water. This gave her the chance to get to grips on what life was like from the surface. However, this made her a bit a klutz and a bit careless. During the times when she wasn’t at school, she tried to cook at home, which usually having the stove catch on fire, and in one instance, nearly burning the house down. When she was 16, Harmony got enrolled in Alfea as an exchange student. As a farewell gift, she was given a special bag which can only be visible in the water, but invisible on land. This held her important belongings, and her favourite camera – which is the latest model which can take photos both on land and in the sea. Harmony can be found near the water fountain, alone in her special dorm room (which was requested for her if she felt homesick), in the library studying for the next big test or in detention for disrupting the class during school hours.
In the first few days, a lot has happened to this girl. The Trix and Selina attacked Alfea. At first she was scared because she didn’t had her powers, but she felt an energy burning. After what happened next (death of a classmate, the Fall and Return of Alfea, which both Headmistresses switched bodies), she felt confused. After having Faragonda (who was stuck in Griffin's body at that moment) comforting her. One day, a witch called Breanne decided to help the girl out with a sparring match. Harmony was able to unlock her powers by focusing her energy into a single attack. She let it loose on the witch, which ended up with a power surge in her pendant. Following up that, Harmony earned her first transform, gaining access to her powers once more.
However, when Selina still being a villainess, she attacked the school with copies of villans of the past. It was in history class that she was facing a copy Darkar. The copy sent a shadow to cover her in a silence void. She faced her fear, and broke free of the prison, earning her Charmix Brooch and Tote Bag.
One day, she received a mysterious note before heading to the past to tell her it was time to head back to Melody to solve the mystery of the Harmonic Pendant. However, since the mission came first, she followed her fellow Charmix freshmen with two of the Winx to try and stop the Trix. During that experience, she got offered to join the Trix, and found a friend in Krystal. When they returned however, her new friend Krystal headed to the libaray to find more about the pendant itself. After the Christmas and New Year’s break, it was time to solve the Mystery.
A group of them headed to Melody which they faced a small handful of Legendarum creatures. But a lot of things happen one after another after giving the group some items to help them underwater. From dealing with Politea, being in a statue, and then ended up being in an old cave, facing a Dead Sea Witch’s spirit. With the help of an old kind spirit, two of the group used a bottle and buried it. Returning to the Summer House that Musa let them to stay at, they decided to take a bit of a relaxation period, giving two charms to the animals that came along to make them speak. The next day, 3 of the Winx came over to help deal with the Trix. After saying no to the Trix, and having the Winx defeated, Harmony, and a couple of the group tried kicking the behind of the Trix, but with one convergence spell with Flora, the Merfairy was able to defeat the Trix, who fled and never bothered Harmony again with her pendant. Their main intention is still unknown till this day.
Later on that day, after the Winx’s departure, the group headed to the library to find out about the spirit called Sarah, and found out that she was one of the ones who made the pendant shape from the sea witch. After leaving the library Selina was waiting for them, demanding the pendant, or Harmony’s home. Harmony refused, and the attack commenced. The group headed off to the ocean. With quick thinking on Roll’s behalf, the two lead the creature (that they faced on the way to Melody) away from their village and killed it. When they returned, Harmony was greated with the townsfolk and told her teacher that she wanted to stay at Alfea. Then with an invite, she and the group headed to the Palace, where they got the final piece on what to do.
After reading what the shell scrolled obtained, the group unlocked the power of the pendant by a convergence. Sarah appeared and explained everything. A short time skip and Harmony had a big day. She and the group received a medal of their bravery, became Stella’s apprentice, helped out with Daphne’s wedding dress, and even hung out with the Winx. A few days later, Eldora asked the merfairy to sing at the reception, and through that, ended up joining the Student Band.
On Valentines Day, both Stella and Harmony put on a fashion show to boost Harmony’s confidence as part of her training, though it was already planned. After a lot of try outs, and the pixies wants to join in, the models were picked, and with extra help by Amara, a fellow freshman, the show was ready. The show was a huge success, which got two realms talking about a trade. Harmony felt tired and headed to her secret room, where Faragonda stood. Sarah appeared one last time, and revealed that she was her grandmother. They exchange words, and Sarah requested the headmistress to look after Harmony as she was her own grandmother. Faragonda agreed. Sarah disappeared, leaving Harmony with a new adopted grandmother, crying in her arms till she passed out.
After that, you can find the merfairy either with Stella at her Bouquet, or with the student band for practice in the music café if she’s not too busy with her homework.
