Honestly what's wrong with the magic wands!!! I know that the 2D transformation of this is going to be terrible after the tragedy that was the Sirenix 2D 4:00 long transformation. I love the song it's girly but I like it. I hope that at least they are going to have another wing set because I hate those >.<

The wands aren't very creative and have popped up in a ton of other magical girl series. If they had a more creative design or gave everyone different weapons (since wands aren't the only weapons associated with magic) then I don't think there'd be as much of a fuss.

I might have to agree. I've seen better magical weapons in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and Puella Magi Madoka Magica than just mere wands

Let's just face the facts: the wands aren't going away. I feel like everyone finds one little problem with the transformation and they end up loving them somehow.
Sirenix: The 3D transformation
Bloomix: The name
Mythix: The wands.
I haven't really seen anyone talk about the transformation look it's self or the wings really. Maybe they are trying to go back into the magical girl roots with the wands. Maybe they are trying to reference Sailor Moon or something like that. What's wrong if the wands aren't very creative? Most magic girl shows with wands have copied off of Sailor Moon in the first place this show is no different. There's really nothing else "creative" that they could have done that no other magical girl show has yet to have.

For Sirenix, I liked the idea of 3D. I actually dislike its design in 2D more than in 3D, though I still dislike it. For Bloomix, I genuinely like it despite the awful idea of naming it after a character that's already had so much spotlight. For Mythix, I've talked about the wings and outfits. I dislike most of them (though Bloom's and Musa's are nice, and the recent images of Stella, Flora and Tecna look much better). I'll probably warm up to it when we get better images of Mythix than this one to go off of. I've mentioned the way it looks in either the Mythix thread or this thread (I don't remember which).
It's not just that it isn't creative, it's also that they're bland looking and are the same except the design on the top. This show is no different, but they still chose to take something right off other magical girl shows rather than at least trying to do something different. I like the concept of Mythix on paper. I do not like it's execution. Like with Sirenix and Harmonix, I'm not that interested in the fact that they look identical except small differences and color. I'll admit Bloomix has the same problem but I like the base design (which with Sirenix I did not).
Also, a severe lack of creativity can make something uninteresting and cliche. It's great that you, and other people, like the wands, but the point still stands that others don't like the wands.

As long as we all don't end up in a war over the wands I am good. There's really no point in arguing over something that can't be changed. The 3D for the transformation looks absolutely beautiful and I wish someone had leaked it like sirenix and harmonix. The secondary transformations (i.e Harmonix and Bloomix) don't get that much love. Well in this case Bloomix got more love then Mythix and Harmonix got more love than Sirenix. I think it's because this season got rushed and so did season 5. Maybe they where planning on ending the show at Season 4 or Magical adventure and were surprised that they had a chance to renew the show for two more seasons. I think all of their creativity went into the believix transformations in season 4 and after coming up with all of those they ran out of ideas. I bet you there was a whole crowd of people who hated the new transformations in Sailor Moon. But I think alot of people would be mad if the girls kept the same transformation but a new style throughout the whole time. And of course you have to remember that people actually like the wands. Wink

Like I've stated before we don't know the purpose of the wands yet. You can't just automatically jump to the conclusion that the wands are a bad idea. We are still on like episode eight and their barely getting started with their Bloomix powers. It's the Sirenix and Bloomix wars all over again people just automatically hate it without knowing how it effects the story line. I admit Sirenix wasn't the best transformation especially after Harmonix being unique and different. The wands are the only thing I like in Mythix I hate the wings and outfits in 2D but the 3D version is better. Don't get me started on Bloom's jungle hair and eye shadow. In all honesty if 4kids did continue the show the Harmonix, Sirenix, Bloomix, and Mythix would still most likely exists. Winx Club is winding down on it's era and it's time for a new magic girl show to take over. *Sighs* Oh, and I do agree with what you were saying.

what I dislike about mythix is they could have used more interesting magical weapons (if you've watched Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Symphogear or the like, you'll know what I mean) rather than wands.

I don't think weapons would have worked in winx club epsecially since it's becoming a bit kiddish with the age change. I feel like the wands are more Sailor Moony...lol why hasn't season 6 been sued for copy right yet?

maybe because Rainbow's in America and the other companies are in Japan. thus is Winx copies their ideas, it doesn't really matter much
