Why are people hating on Bloom and Bloomix?

In my opinion, I think it was sweet how Bloom shared her powers to her best friends due to them losing their powers. Plus, I think that with Bloomix, they won't be losing their powers anytime soon, since they all have part of the Dragon Flame with them, the dis-extinguishable power of the DF. So I think people should look at the bright side, and the fact that the girls are all now part Dragon Flame fairies, thus making them all powerful on some basis.

Because Bloom has had way too much focus over all 6 seasons; this season is just giving more attention to Bloom, the exact opposite of what so many people want because she's already been in the spotlight so much. Sure, it's sweet, but it doesn't lessen the impact of knowing that this is another season with focus on Bloom.

From a writer's perspective, Bloom is a bit of a Sue for my tastes. She means well, obviously, but her character balance is tipped closer to "perfect" than "normal". With the exception of Tecna, Roxy, Aisha, and Daphne, she also has a high number of powers, which usually correlates with Sue. However, I don't hate on characters, I just have complaints to the writers for writing her in that way.

Arguably, Dark Bloom would be helpful in keeping her character in the middle, but since she wasn't willingly/consciously doing the evil and was under a spell, it doesn't weigh as much if she was actually going to the dark side willingly before making a comeback. However, Dark Bloom does remind me of Phoenix from X-Men.

If the series balances out attention to the other Winx girls, or they give more depth to Bloom outside of "pure-hearted protagonist" then Bloom wouldn't be under so much fire. It is obvious that Winx Club is meant to have Bloom as the overall hero, but they should balance out attention like they do in Teen Titans or W.I.T.C.H. or Sailor Moon (which is the predecessor to all female-oriented-crime-fighting-shows).

Well PrinceAbeash is right. When Bloom give the DF to the Winx, it was a boost for Bloomix, and also it's the gem part of the crown in the Bloomix transformation, also when DF got solid, it turn into a gem.

It's nice and all she helped them get Bloomix, but that doesn't change that she's gotten so much more attention than anyone else and another season of focusing on Bloom is not what we need. She's lacking in depth and the others are lacking in depth because they don't get any focus. It's hard not to hate on it because from a writer's perspective, this is just another way to focus on Bloom more. There's really no denying that one, it's a bit obvious plus they still aren't giving as much attention to the other girls.

I agree. Aisha should have had more attention than Bloom in season 5, and now Flora should have attention for season 6 considering it's about Lynphea. The others should have more attention as well, I mean we barely know anything about Flora or Tecna's family, besides Miele.

That's right. I think this is a quite original form of earning their new powers, but this is just another way of having Bloom as the main hero... I like Bloom, but if it's going to be Bloom AND the Winxs... She did something amazing giving them part of the dragon flame, but it could have been better if she also looses them and they have to bloom into new powers or something like that

Well guys we should all look at it in another perspective, we don't really know much about upcoming episodes, so we can't be sure its a BLOOM season. Plus throughout PROMO's we've been seeing Stella's designs, a clear show that she's becoming a bigger part, also, I get the feeling this season will be focusing a bit more on Flora. I mean fine, Bloom provided the power, and as team leader of course she gets spotlight, but try to look at a different perspective. Last season, Tecna got some recognition. We saw Zenith, her relationship with Timmy is evolving, and she was given some episodes where she shows different emotions. Flora on the other hand, grabbed the second half of the series from Bloom because her drama with Helia was wayyyyyy better and more appealing than Bloom's.

To be honest, I like how Bloom gave them her powers. But the freaking fact the transformation is named after a character who had 5 seasons and 2 movies focused on, is way too much angering and stupid. The Winx did get few spotlights this season, yes, I agree. But Bloom kept holding all that remaining spotlight. The Helia X Flora problems barely shows us any scenes. It took them about 20 episodes to show us 30 minutes of their problems. While Bloom is always SKY SKY SKY SKY. And come on, Stella didn't get any light besides 2-3 episodes and some designs making her equally getting spotlight with the others. BUT this EQUAL spotlight I'm talking about is like 30% all the 5 Winx combined while Bloom got the other 70%.

Sure, if the transformation was named for example Andromidix, Dimentix, Valryix etc. or anything that sounds nice then it's accepted to everyone. Hell, if the main character was named Chloe for example, Bloomix was to be an epic name.
