- Lapis:
Fairy of Rocks.
Lapis is 17 years old, attending her second year at Alfea. She comes from the planet of Linphea. Her powers are derived from rocks and stones of all kind. Lapis' name is a shortened term for the stone lapis lazuli.
Lapis is quiet and observant. She’s not shy, but simply doesn’t see a need to talk very often. She keeps a calm state of mind and is quite relaxed, perhaps due to meditation. Although she’s capable of talking to others, she chooses not to. She gets irritated by loud people and loud noises of all sorts; she prefers a quiet atmosphere. Lapis isn’t a good leader, since despite having the bravery and strategy required; she doesn’t really talk over other people. She sort of stays in the background unless there’s something important that needs to be said; in which case, she’s probably the one saying it due to her blunt nature. She occasionally comes across as aloof or rude.
Civilian - Her civilian outfit includes a long sleeved dark gray top and black jeans. Her shoes are gray with darker gray edges. Her hair is held in a ponytail that is just above her waist. Her hair also has a light brown streak going through it. The ponytail holder is gray, and her eyes are brown. Her skin is of a slightly tanned color. [Image coming soon]
Winx - Lapis wears a skintight jumpsuit with two thin straps holding it up. The jumpsuit is sparkly, ends a little above her knees and is a dark gray color. Her gloves are of the same color and also sparkle; the gloves don’t go far past her wrist and have open cuffs. Her heeled boots are dark gray and are a little under half-way to her knees. The open part between her two straps has a light blue-gray covering, and she wears dark gray earrings. Her brown hair is held in a ponytail that is just above her waist. The ponytail holder is a light blue-gray. Her wings are small and somewhat oval shaped, but have pointed edges. They’re of a light blue-gray color with darker blue-gray tips. [Image coming soon]
Spells
Sandstone Storm – Fires a laser at her target. The laser is composed of magical energy and sediment, but isn’t particularly strong.
Sediment Wave – Fires a stream of sediment to distract and disorient the target. It’s not really an offensive skill, but it’ll hurt if the sediment gets in your eyes.
Stone Shield – Forms a circular shield made of magical energy to protect herself. The shield is a bit larger than her head and can reflect weak spells.
Boulder Barrier – Forms a dome shield made of magical energy to protect herself. The barrier could fit about 4 people inside it (this isn’t counting the people that could just get behind it).
Cave In – Creates two medium sized rocks made of magical energy to crush the target. It takes a while to cast, though.
- Volicia:
Fairy of Volcanoes.
Volicia is 16 and starting her first year at Alfea, although it’s not her first college year. She's from Domino, and her name is partly derived from 'volcano'. She used to go to Beta Academy.
Volicia is hot tempered, unsurprisingly. She's prone to shouting and violence when upset. That being said, she doesn't mean to get angry so frequently, and apologizes for her outbursts frequently. Volicia is great with people when not upset, and tries to make friends, although she's quite loud. She tries to be loyal and kind to the few friends she had managed to make, but often ends up scaring them away due to her frequent outbursts and frighting powers. Volicia spends much of her free time on the internet, following updates on recent volcanic activity.
Civilian - Volicia has short dark red hair with lighter streaks in it, and her skin is pale. She wears a bright red sleeveless top with black shorts and black high heels. She also wears a black choker. [Image coming soon]
Winx - Volicia wears a sparkly cone shaped brown top that ends just above her hips. The top is lined with red and she wears a red choker that holds it up. She wears sparkly black pants and red boots. Her sleeves are brown and cone shaped and are lined with red. Her wings are cone shaped, and the bottom of both wings has a thin part of it going downwards. They're a bright red color. Spells
Smoke Fumes – Fires a spray of smoke to hinder the target’s sight.
Lava Flow – Fires a laser made of hot magical energy at the opponent.
Eruption – Conjures a powerful wave of lava and magical energy, and then hurls it at the opponent. Takes a while to cast.
Cooled Shield – Creates a chunk of cooled magma and uses it as a shield. The shield is a bit larger than Volicia’s head.
Molten Rain – Rains down magma in a wide area. Probably not a good spell to use often.
- Litera:
Witch of Books
Litera is 18 years old and currently on her last year at Cloudtower. Her name is derived from literature, and so are her powers. She comes from Erakylon.
Litera is quiet, and often gets rather anxious. She usually stays away from other people. She stays in her own little corner, away from other people. She hardly talks, even when needed. Although quiet, she's pretty intelligent and makes good grades. She spends much of her time reading at her leisure, but she also enjoys the internet. Litera isn't good with people at all, but she does well with animals and keeps a pet cat named 'Kitee'. That being said, she can be playful and tricky when she wants to be. She usually carries a book around with her, which is called 'Witchly Spells: A Guide to Beginner Witchcraft".
Civilian - Litera wears a dark blue dress that goes to her ankles and black dress shoes. The dress is lined with a lighter blue on the bottom and on the sleeves, which are short. Her skin is a dark brown and her hair is curly, black and held in two pigtails. [Image coming soon]
Spells
Enchanting Storytime Shield - Creates a large barrier to protect herself and her allies; it only lasts while she tells a story, however.
Quill Darts - Sends out several quills imbued with magic energy to strike the target.
Extravagant Language - Speaks several words that form into magical energy and wrap around the target, hindering their movement.
Book Trap - Smashes the target using an open book, which closes on them.
Literary Spirit - Becomes more in touch with the literature around her; she can use energy from a literary piece to attack, defend or do something else. The spell varies from book to book.
- Moxie:
Fairy of Passion
Moxie is 17, going to her second year at Alfea. Her great passion, and the passion of others, powers her spells, so the more passion she feels, the stronger they get. She comes from Magix. Moxie's name is derived from 'moxie', which is 'determination'.
Moxie, naturally, is very passionate and determined to get her goals. She's a bit of a drama queen and is loud and social. Moxie is highly loyal, but has few close friends since she has a habit of scaring people away with her emotional outbursts and loudness. She doesn't get along too well with animals, either, actually. She strives to help others, even when they don't want it. She’s usually seen chewing gum.
Civilian - Moxie wears an orange tube top that reveals her midriff and a pair of magenta pants with magenta high heels. Her skin is a dark tan color and her hair is black, and goes to her bottom.
Winx - Moxie wears a sleeveless sparkly magenta top that is held up by a dark pink choker. The ends of the top are slightly curled up around the bottom of it. She wears sparkly dark pink sleeves that go up a bit under her armpits and are connected to her middle finger. The space between the top and the sleeves has a thin, slightly transparent lining over it, which is pink. She wears pink leggings and magenta boots, which go a little past her ankle. Her wings are a bit larger than normal Winx wings and are pink. [Image coming soon]
Spells
Passionate Punch – Imbues her fist with magical energy and punches her target.
Lovely Laser – Fires a laser made of pure magical energy at her target.
Belief in Defense – Creates a large shield to defend herself. Alternatively, she bashes her target with the shield.
Passion Crash – Imbues herself with magical energy and rams into her target.

- Kitee:
Kitee is Litera's pet cat. Kitee is often noisy and frequently wants attention, but also likes other cats. She's a female cat with brown fur and green eyes; her fur is short.
- Actual Story:
Chapter One
The sun shone brightly over Alfea college; several teenaged girls were lined up at the surrounding school gates.
“Full name, please,” Griselda said, looking up from the papers.
“Lapis. I’m from Linphea,” A tall, tanned girl replied.
Griselda checked her papers again and then replied “Yes, you’re on the list, room 231. You may come in.”
Lapis walked past Griselda and took a long look at Alfea. The awe-inspiring building seemed to have a nice glimmer, either from the sun or from the joy of a new year. Lapis continued on towards the entrance. All over the courtyard, there were fairies chatting amongst eachother and rushing to their dorm rooms. Many seemed ecstatic, others were bummed out.
“Oh! Excuse me!” Someone shouted, running up to Lapis. “Can you show me where room 230 is? I’ve been looking all over!”
Lapis looked at the pale girl and said “I can show you. Follow me.”
The redhead followed Lapis into the building. She looked in amazement at the inside.
“Wow, it’s really neat in here,” She said, getting lost in the décor.
“Yep. Are you new here?” Lapis asked, grabbing the girl’s hand and pulling her along.
“Yeah, and I’ve gotta say, it’s cool here!”
“My first year here was awe-inspiring too. I guess I’m used to it now,” Lapis continued, dragging the girl up the steps.
“Here we are,” Lapis said, “Room 230. And 231, I suppose we’re in the same dorm together.”
“Ooh! Awesome!” The girl exclaimed.
“What’s your name?” Lapis asked, opening the door and entering the room.
“I’m Volicia,” She replied, following Lapis in, “What about you?”
“Lapis.”
“Oh! Like the gem?”
“It’s not a gem, it’s a stone. And yes,” Lapis set her backpack down on her bed and sat down.
“Neat,” Volicia tossed her belongings on another bed. “That reminds me, do you know who else is in this dorm?”
“Nope. All I know is that we’re both in here together, and that there’s going to be more girls here.”
“Did somebody say something about other girls?”
Lapis and Volicia turned to look at the owner of the high pitched voice. It was a tall, black haired girl.
“Name’s Moxie!” She opened the other door in the dorm and swung her belongings onto the bed. She returned to the room and said “How ‘bout you girls?”
“Volicia!” The short-haired redhead replied, “And this is Lapis.”
“Cute names,” Moxie winked, “So how’s it going?”
“Great! I’ve already met some friendly people,” Volicia looked at Lapis.
“I’m fine,” Lapis shrugged, “Do you know where my roommate is?”
“Heard she dropped out at the last minute,” Moxie said, chewing her gum, “But Volicia and I will be sharing a room, apparently!”
“I’ll finally get a room to myself, then,” Lapis stated, getting into a criss-cross position.
“Aw, must be awful.”
“Not really. My last roommate was a pain.”
“Must have been terrible!” Volicia chimed in, “But you still have us!”
‘Unfortunately,’ Lapis thought, closing her eyes.
“Yep,” She said aloud, “But you two seem fine. I didn’t see either of you last year, were you two at different colleges?”
“I went to Beta Academy,” Volicia replied.
“I was here, but my dorm was switched for some reason. Guess they do that,” Moxie said, sitting down beside Volicia. “But hey, it’s no big deal. Let’s get to know eachother!”
“Okay!” Volicia exclaimed, “You brought it up, you go first!”
“Well, let’s see…” Moxie thought for a bit. “I’m the Fairy of Passion. I use passion as my energy source; the more passion I feel and the more that’s around me, the stronger I get.”
“Ooh! I’m the Fairy of Volcanoes,” Volicia smiled, “I’m great with volcanoes, obviously.”
“Fairy of rocks,” Lapis calmly stated, “I’m in touch with rocks of all kind, even though they do not communicate.”
“I have an important announcement, everyone,” A voice boomed from the speakers, “All second year students, please meet me at the courtyard as soon as possible.”
“Must be Ms. Faragonda,” Lapis said, “We should hurry.”
“Who’s that?” Volicia asked, getting up from the bed and opening the door.
“The headmistress,” Lapis replied.
“Yeah, she’s kind of important,” Moxie added, following Volicia.
“Oh gosh! We should hurry!”
“I just said that.”
