Subject: Favourite Halloween Costumes Mon Sep 16, 2013 2:32 am
So it's that time of year again in some parts of the world, nearly Halloween. I'm looking for a costume because we do a few different events with the kids before Halloween and this year my older daughter's birthday party at her grandma's is a costume party so everyone has to dress up.
I'll probably end up as a sorceress because I can't find a proper dark fairy costume to go with the one my husband has, but I'm wondering what were some of your favourite Halloween costumes from years past?
For myself I'd have to say one of my favourites is the Shy Violet Halloween costume my mom made me when I was 6. She even made the wig, the only things we bought were the shoes, the socks and the glasses.
This is more or less what I looked like- except not drawn. I couldn't find an actual picture of the costume from the 80's online
So what about everyone else?

I am just gonna wear black and orange this halloween. One girl dressed up as a bride in grade 1 which i thought was weird because one boy was dressed up as a groom :wand: . I usually just dressed up as a princess on halloween when I was little. My most favourite would have to be when I dressed up as cheetara from thundercats.
I had to buy a wig and black circle velcro to stick on the wig. I had to make that red symbol she had in the middle. I "borrowed" my mom's broom and took it apart because i needed the stick part for cheetara's staff. Then I had to paint it orange. I had to buy facepaint for the orange design on her face.
