| I got into this series through a friend of mine and at first I didn't know if I would like it. But now I'm really into it. My friend gave me the first two books, Marked and Betrayed where this one character starts out as seeming 'good' but you just feel like there's something off about her, by the second book you find out that you're right.
The writing in these books is really good and the characters feel real. I'm wondering if anyone else is reading these. Please, comment on here. I need to get more of the books myself.

| I'm and reading the 4th one right now and I LOVE them, now I do love vampire books. I like the fact that teenagers are marked and then in four years they are a vampyre or they end up dying, its a twist on the 'feed or die' rule that The Vampire Dairies (books and show) vampires have. I also like the affinities of the elements that Nyx gives, it reminds me of the Moroi vampires in the Vampire Academy books. | |

| I LOVE VAMPIRE ACADEMY!!!!! I read all the books in like 10 days, and that includes weekdays.
I totally gave up on the Mortal Instruments.
I read the first 6 books of the Vampire Diaries, but then eventually gave up on those too.
I just can't stand 3rd person books. I find them boring.
The Tv show of The Vampire Diaries is really good though! I'm still watching it. Season 5 started last Thursday.
I'm reading Betrayed, 2nd book of the House of Night. It's pretty good, but i find the writing a bit simple.

| yeah, it does get pretty intense, but i can't stop reading it! Sometimes I read it late at night, after everybody has gone to bed, and I get freaked out. | |

| I remember when I started reading them. A friend of mine was reading it and the blurb sounded really interesting so I gave it a try.
1 month later I had read 7/12 books in the series. The only problem as that I had to wait for my friend to buy a book in the series and finish reading since I couldn't buy them myself. The library only had the first 3.
My friend never finished the 6th book and that meant I didn't read any more books in the series. I'm still searchin' (see what I did there?no okay) for the rest.
The books are interesting though, and I thought the plot was very original. I quite liked the idea of affinities, such as the priestess' one with cats. My favorite character would be Stevie Rae for being so totally bad***. I would explain that a little but I don't want to spoil the books fro anyone |
