Daphne 7th or 8th Member Of The Winx?

First topic message reminder :

As seen in the season 6 trailer you can see Daphne posing with the girls in their new casual outfits. Is she a member of the winx? She's isn't a fairy anymore because she has no powers? If this is the case what happens to Roxy? So are there 8 members of Winx Club now?

Y'all are making this a little complicated than it needs to be.

Daphne at least has Sirenix powers, even if not as a fairy form. Tritannus took it away and gave it to the Trix. The Ancestral Witches cursed Sirenix, and thus turned Daphne into a lifeless soul w/o a body. That must be one of Rainbow's way of "killing" on this show. So she still had powers, but it was cursed nonetheless.

The Trix could use the Dragon Fire because they had a part of it, not all of it. It works like a real fire guys. Razz

You can take a sample of a flame from a huge one and let it grow out to be just as large. It's how fire is able to spread. Bloom ended up finding her source of the Dragon Fire once more, and let it lose, extinguishing the flame by the Trix which was used for evil purposes.

I honestly have no idea if Daphne still had any source of Dragon Fire in her. But she still had powers, in order to communicate with Bloom throughout the whole show. That's when she was a nymph, yes, but a fairy nonetheless. Now that she's human again, we'll just have to see what she still's got under her sleeves.

Bloom's wish must have not exceeded the jurisdiction of the Guardian of Sirenix, so all was well with bringing Daphne back to life. I'd wonder if the same had gone with Musa.

Seeing Daphne in Season 6 is great. I just hope she gets a decent role at least. Unless bringing her back to life was simply for personal gain. (Looking at you, Bloom)

I'm not going off of Season 5 it's a complete mess with the story line. I put it in the same league as Magical Adventure it doesn't fit with the story plot. I'm going off of Season 1 with the original plot. The witches killed Daphne when trying to steal the dragon "fire" or flame that she had given to Bloom. Therefore Daphne is no longer the keeper of the dragon's flame.

I am just thinking the same. Daphne gave her Dragon flame (on wich she probably was entitled as the oldest heir of Domino) to bloom completely, but by that time, she was allready 'dead' or cursed....that on it's own is a weird loop....
But then I'm wondering now, imagine she HAS a role in the new season, what would her element be then? just fire without a dragon? or ....

And since she has reached Sirenix before, she was probably allready an enchantix so she is per definition qualified to become a member of the winx (Roxy has only earth transformation/believix -still not out of that one)-

yah i think that either daphne has a little dragon flame or flame without the the dragon.

I don't know if Daphne is a member of the winx, many of us thought Roxy was a member of the winx, but turned out she wasn't. I know that you can see Daphne with the winx in one scene of the trailer, but that could mean anything, so far we hadn't seen any sign of her in the newest winx form. Though I will not make any decisions yet, I will wait and see what will happen to her in season 6.

I count Roxy as a part of the Winx. So I think Daphne is the eight Razz

I think that once Roxy graduates she will be the official 7th member of the winx while Daphne is the 8th. I also hope that the new witch will be the fourth member of the trix.

I'd love it if Roxy become the newest member of the winx and Daphne is awesome but it would be kinda washed out to me if they keep adding new characters to the winx. Its a cool idea in relation to the song "If you're a winx" but otherwise I'd rather if they started mass recruiting after the main plot line is through or at the end...Although a huge battle with Daphne like the one in the trailer would be awesome!

I wonder if Daphne will be here to relocate her own power once more. That means, she'd have to start from the ground up and get Winx. It's like Roxy all over again. Razz

I'd honestly wish we had her come back first, but again, 7 characters is a lot to focus on.
