- I wonder if there was a Liberty's Kids marathon on the History channel/This TV today, but since I don't have a tv I wouldn't know. By the way Liberty's kids is a look back at the Revolutionary war through the eyes of three teenage reporters (I'm sure those reporters were the historical fiction part as that is allowed.) Sarah, James and Henri, very interesting to see if you want.
I miss Liberty's Kids, but I have the complete set on DVD, so I do not miss it too much. I am saddened to see that an educational show like that is off the air, so children will not be learning about it, unless there parents are old school and have a copy of School House Rock.

| A lot of 90's-05 cartoons are educational while being somewhat silly, most parents have a copy of Magic School Bus at least since it was PBS's best show aside from Carmen Sandiego,Bill Nye,Electric Company and Zoom. Liberty's kids did have a civil-war spinoff planned at one point but i think it was scrapped | |

I always thought they should have done a sequel, but I then thought about it because compared to the American Revolution, the Civil War does not have a lot of well-known figures, and I do not think it would capture the same attention that the Revolution was able to do in Liberty's Kids.

| Kyra it wouldn't have been just the civil war it would been the entire 1800's from the pioneer life to reconstruction, then a 3rd possibility around the World Wars and even the baby boomer generation as well as getting up to each president, if they were allowed to depict 9/11 but they aren't, WinxRox Liberty's kids is a patriotic cartoon that is why | |

| I was basically saying that we brought up Liberty's kids because it was a patriotic cartoon and can be set at sever different points in history mainly the Revolution (which is the only cartoon we have for it at this point), the 1800's which includes pioneer life, the civil war and reconstruction, the World War 1, the Great Depression, World War 2, the 50's baby boomers, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's, early 2000's tragedy and tech advancements, and even current events. | |

| When I meant, Italian, I mostly meant the fact Winx Club was an Italian program. And the funny thing about 4Kids' 4th of July video, all those other characters mostly hail from Japan. | |

| All the action is over now. We lit our smaller fireworks. They were kinda awesome but one almost hit people (bottle rocket) and some were duds. Ah well! I hardly got to see any big fireworks I made my mom drive around looking for them . We saw a few but theses people were having a party and dancing and we looked over and my mom and I were laughing at them. They looked ridiculous! I said "What dance was THAT?!" and my mom said "The big booty dimple butt!" IM STILL LAUGHING! Now I'm just sitting here listening to fireworks I cannot see mock me. | |

| I saw a whole lot of the big ones and plenty of people with sparklers and snap dragons which end up smelling really bad when they die out. | |
