Resizing Signatures

Hello everyone! Me and the other mods talked about some members having over-sized signatures.
Well, if you don't know what is the max of the size of a signature, maybe try visiting the rules topic.
Our signatures shouldn't be big so that people wouldn't have a hard time scrolling down just because of the sizes of your signatures...

But here's a tip, if you don't know how to resize your signature, try going to Flickr or Photobucket.
I don't know about photobucket, but I will tell you all how to resize it on Flickr.

~Flickr~
Sign up first, if you have signed up, then lets proceed to step 2.
I am sure that Flickr will give you a tour.

Then, upload your signature! Its up to you if you wanted it to be private or public.
If you have uploaded it, click the picture.

If you are there on the picture, right-click then you will see certain sizes like [Meduim 500, Medium 800,etc.]
It would be better to click 500, then when you click it, to get the url, right-click then copy url.

GC Users: Copy URL
IE Users: Properties, then copy the link adress
Firefox Users: Copy Image Location

Then there! You have it in a smaller size but in a high quality!
The resolution and quality would be like my signature, having that resolution and quality is great right? Smile

So, this topic is mainly about the over-sized signatures, please PM us mods for help, ok? Smile

I do hope this works, but if you still don't understand, try to PM me since I wrote that tutorial...

NOTE: IF the Medium 640 is like 640x364 or 365, etc; I suggest you go to paint and crop it, you can as well see how big it is. It should be 630x360. Try cropping the bottom or upper part.

ONE MORE THING!
Since many people are asking us if their sig is in the right size, how about I tell you all how to know whats the size of your sig is.

1. Go to MS Paint. Then look at the bottom part with its length and width (i.e. 640x360)
2. You may ask assistance to me and the other mods about re-sizing OR telling if it is enough or oversized.
3. You may also ask us where or how to re-size.

^Well, I didn't include Firefox since I don't have one, but usually, to get the link adress, you have to right-click, then copy its link url or adress.

I think that Jae should put a limit for the signatures. Like 500x300. Some of the signatures on the forum are just too big.

Maybe, if you see an oversized sig (for Super Mods), then take it and shrink it a bit. Then, in a PM, send this to the owner of the oversized sig?

Possibly.. but that would kind of be a lot of work for them, don't you think? The members should be able to resize or make the signature in the right size.

I cant tell when a sig is oversized unless its really huge i just got a pm from chris saying my sig is oversized
