• how can it be some people have huge avatar images while the avatar settings info says they cannot be bigger than 200x300?

• does this forum have more skins/themes? if so, please tell me how to change because i find this dark black theme a little off by now, especially because black aint a winx colour at all in general

• do moderators or the administrator care for what happens in the chatbox? i often see rude language, kids bitching to one another , fights etc
so in other words, does anyone moderate it somehow at some point?
if not, i suggest it gets taken off because all the spam and horrible imature fights that are there daily are getting old and it aint setting a good example for the entire forum look

Di Zio, I totally agree, Fights always happens. But Flagging people will restrict them for 3 hours. but, If only enough people flag the user. We currently have no Chat mods. I just got an update that the Mod for the chat is Sibylla.

Wait so did anyone get added with me or was it just me?? Or do you know?

On the matters of the chat box; I'm getting tired of it hanging around so often. I think communication with others should be handled in a different way. Perhaps like twitter, where we can all be connected and talk about anything. I mean, it's not the forum so you can "LOL" and type emotes all you want. Razz

Plus, I'm inclined to agree that the chat can also get out of hand with profanity and immaturity rising. Since we don't have moderators on constant duty (and likely we won't); it's my opinion that we just drop the chat completely. It's not doing any harm in so, yet if people wanna communicate, we should just send private messages or stay connected socially.

I have just been so busy with college that I barely have time to look into other things such as the forum.

I've been focused on things that I can for a while now and I apologize for that.

And I also highly agree with the Chatbox situation, It's getting out of hand and everything I check up on it there is always arguments and swearing and I can't do anything about it because of my busy schedule.
I don't have any mods because I don't have any people that I could trust enough to not abuse the privileged.
UPDATE:I've added 5 new MODS so now everything will hopefully be calmer and less explicit.

I'm happy to put you guys as mods on the chat box since you all seem to have the right intentions judging by your opinions on it.

As for the theme I'm looking into that, I have a new design planned already and I intend to put it into to action as soon as half term hits.

As for the Question section for the users, I will get that done as soon as I can.

im glad a new theme for the forum is coming up but doesnt this free forum software have got the ability to upload more than one ? so people can choose

as for the chatbox.... adding moderators is good i guess to that spot but like choco said, its better to take it offline completely that way the entire situation of having spammers and rude kiddos around won't be much of a problem anymore unless they register at the forum and make the forum a place like hell :roll:

oh and @ the administrator
i had no idea you get so many pms so often, then i kinda understand why i didnt got any reply
and its kind of you to apologize and all, we sure all appericiate that
but doing that doesn't change much to the fact you really cannot handle this all by yourself
so much online stuff + this forum + your personal life

why don't you make one of the moderators administrator so that person can do all the things you cant as you are too busy

this way the forum will definitely be able to improve in a lot of things and you dont have to worry so much about the forum either because then its other people their good hands

really, its one way or another right... its like being active yourself more often... or let someone else do the stuff for you
but because you say you cant be active ... i think my suggestion aint that such a bad idea

Having more than one admin is a plus, so the work can be equally divided. However, being put as administrator is a big job, and it's a lot more work than any of yall can imagine. I would suspect that Jae would need to pick the right person for the job, and one that he can completely put his trust into. Like he knows the person inside and out, backwards and forward.

Duncan and I as moderators to look after what we're suppose to, and serve our duty from the best of our ability. For now, at the current time at the message boards, we'll have to work this way and adapt to what comes next.

Remember, I'm still here if anybody needs to Private Message me a question or a concern. While I do have college and my personal life, I do my best to keep up with this place and have open ears. Smile

or that neither you or duncan are good for the job?

i know the facts about trust etc
im an administrator myself , also of a fan forum and i haven't let anybody be 2nd administrator yet because i dont feel i can trust someone there for even a 95%
thuogh... the forum there also needs a 2nd admin
lucky that forum im talking about aint so crowded as this one so im still doing okay

unlike the administrator here... a lot of people come here daily
and especially because the most of us are kids the forum needs to be more neat and tight with things if you ask me
a lot of kids dont understand what a forum really is about or get a little off and misbehave without any administrator giving them a warning or ban when its really needed... well yeah only when we pm him about it twice perhaps

but there are lots of things why this forum certainly needs a 2nd admin
so i hope he can asign it to someone , hopefully soon enough
i think it would really help a lot
