Who's this They? The 5th season only recently finished production (or may still be in final production) and an entire 26 seasons takes about a year to produce depending on your production crew. Heck on the official Winx Club page the countries other than Italy an English season 5 promo which means that they aren't even ready to do a global premier. Season 6 from what I've heard isn't in production yet.
RAI/Nick couldn't have produced both seasons at once because of the time and money it would take to produce 2 seasons at once. I also wouldn't go by what you find on the internet reguarding season 5 or 6 information because everyone who works at an animation company is under contract not to leak any information until they have the green light.
Also the reason that the 3rd and 4th seasons were released so quickly was because Nick just needed their English VAs to do voice overs. There wasn't any animation to do or models to render.
Season 5 is going to be released in 2 parts. I have no idea when we'll see season 6 | |
