Appearance:
Set gear is his Õdachi and one or two smaller swords (wich he never uses) the sheat of the sword is a meter long and looks like its made from wood. Actually its an extremely strong alloy that lets him deflect blows of other weapons with it or use it as a blunt weapon. since it's a metal it's pretty useless against any magical attacks.
his general clothing style is rather strict. allways wearing sunglasses. except at night offcource, but overall having a decent suit on. his hair is dark brown and curly, his eyes are light green and his skin is normally colored. maybe slightly pale thanks to his evasiveness of bright sunlight.

Strengths:
-strategist: knows where to place everyone for maximum results.
- high speed fighter: his moves are far faster than most, making him an excellent duellist.
-quick mind: able to learn quickly
-Mind for art: he can appreciate art in many forms and excells in poetry. even though his speach impairment makes him lacking in a propper way of performing it.
- knows sign language.

Weaknesses:
- vurnerable to magic, being trained in a warrior rich enviroment he has little posession of defences against magical attacks.
- vurnerable to ranged attacks: arrows, bullets or other projectiles will cause full damage when they hit him.
- Photophobia: has to wear sunglasses during normal daylight or will have a hard time seeing.
- s-s-s-stuttering: his greatest shame is that he stutters. And for someone of his position it ruins all credability. He does know sign language

Personality traits:
Positive:
-great loyalty. Once assigned to a task he shall do all he can to complete it.
-in combat he stays suprisingly cool and calm. It takes a lot to get him enraged
-works of mercy. Allways performs the seven virtues if possible
Negative:
-mercyfull. Will accept a defeat from his foe at any time. Magic users can easely abuse this.
-honourbound: if insulted he will challange the offender to a duel and never stop working against him or her untill its settled
-shady history. Very protective about his weapon. But also isn't much of a talker thanks to his stuttering.

Personalty itself:
Ka'Cova has been raised from ever he could walk in the old ways of the warrior. he is ever acting in honour of his familly, wich he has to keep high. most see him as a sort of paladin, yet he lacks any power.
his greatest failure is his speach. unable to speak a sentance without talking either very slowly or stuttering he cannot have a normal conversation. this leaves him seen as an socially inapt person.
personally he enjoys a great deal of small things. ever being glad when helping others and trying to let them see the upside of being good themselfs.
However if someone makes fun of his vocal handicap he can get pretty agressive. often demanding their appologies or even challanging them for a duel (as he doesn't fight unarmed persons he carries a spare sword with him to give to them so he can start the duel immediatly)

History:
Ka'Cova was raised in the ways of the warrior, having be tought from ever he could walk (wich was before he could talk) about the art of combat as well as the arts of music, poetry and painting. he excelled in nearly all yet spoke very little. when at last his father made him speak (with the use of a good old fashioned leather belt) it was clear why: he couldn't talk without stuttering.
For a boy who was to become a body of authority, his familly allways were fabled law enforcers of Callistia, this was a giant handicap and he was quickly placed out of sight.
Yet he didn't stop learning and training on his own. and one day to gain the eye of his father once more he entered a local fighting competition. using the heirloom sword of their familly he bested many opponents with his sheated-sword style yet at last got beaten by one of the bruter champions. a blade is strong. but you can't block a smithe from a maul with it.
with the sword broken his famillies honour was shattered too. yet a prophecy was given by one of the worlds oracles from an ancient book: "the sword shall be mended when the honour is restored"'
hearing this, as well as the assignment to train more and in the more brute ways of the warriors he got written into Red Fountain. ever having to bear the shame of the broken sword as well as his speech with him.

about his familly: all trough the line his father, and his father, and the father of that father were the greatest of the law-bringers of the region they lived in. they were known for their strict laws and enforcing of them. even standing up to royalty if they came into their district and broke the laws they placed. but never hated for they all practioned care and mercy to those in need.

weapon info:
he carries an Õdachi with a whole blade lenght of 100 cm. yet it is broken at roughtly 70. leaving him with the heavy reinforced sheet that contains the fragmants of the tip

he also carries a secondairy Wakisashi as backup or to give to those he wants to fight but have no weapons of their own at hand.

Despite you combining them into one strength, playing instruments and writing poetry are two different strengths. You have a total of 5 strengths, for future's reference.

Basically these are same things. Long ranged attacks are all magic; and since he's already weak against magic, the second weakness is a repeat in a different manner. You must change it so it balanced 5 strengths / 4 weaknesses (or 5 strengths and 5 weaknesses) in your OC.

Why? Is his a family coming from a line of warriors? Or are there other reasons? And what kind of authority? Battle-wise, royalty-wise, or what?
