| A light coating of Stardust snow called Astrum Pruina has fallen during the night and a flurry of it is still falling. The light bounces off the snow crystals, producing small auras. This snow is however not as soft as normal snow. Lexi's balcony is coated with this dust and gives the castle grounds a beautiful shine. | |

| The princess rose out of bed in her night gown, her slumberous eyes catching the frost of stardust outside. She stood on the edge of her balcony overlooking the kingdom and took in the iridescent scene. | |

| The blonde fairy pulls out a sketchpad she had and a few colored pencils. She flipped to a previously existing unfinished drawing overlooking the kingdom she had started last year, and began to add crystaline flakes all around. | |

| Alexis sat in her bedroom in a silk slip, her mother at her side with ladies in waiting scurrying around helping her prepare for the Princess Ball. A cosmetologist was styling her hair into an intricate braided position. There was a customized gown in display on a dress form ready to be worn specifically for this occasion, as this ball was the most important one in a princess's life before her wedding and coronation. Invitations were sent out several months ago, and the fairy was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her closest friends. The ball wouldn't start for several hours and the crystal gates weren't opened yet but the town outside was swarming and royal airships were arriving. | |
