Purest light (Requires target to be under the influence of identifying star): Searing light of the highest brightness and purification surround one willing target. At the cost of five minutes of complete blindness, Zaflore can remove one ailment. This includes permanent effects, improve massive disfiguration or remove minor ones completely (once this effect is used on a massive disfiguration, it can never be used again for the purpose of improving that specific condition again.) And high level curses, including all movement inhibiting effects, entanglements and stuns. This effect is excluded from mind affecting abilities (Like enthralling effects, stuns invoked by psychic blows and the likes) It also cannot heal any psychological ailments, it purely works physically. The blind of this spell cannot be prematurely ended by any and all effects.

Solar flare: Zaflore temporarily loses her physical form to become a solar flare, rendering herself immune to physical damage and projectile based spells. She will bounce up to three allied or enemy targets. After hitting three targets Zaf will return to physical form at a chosen location within reasonable range of the last bounce target. The total duration of the spell is about 10 seconds, so during that time she will retain her nonphysical form and thus have the benefits described above.

On ally hit: Zaf will heal the target a fair bit and gives a short lasting shield to the target for 10 seconds.
On enemy hit: Zaf will deal a moderate amount of fire damage to the target and increasing general vulnerability for magic for 10 seconds.

Medium power spells:
Identifying star: Immediately reveals most severe ailment to the target. Electively it can also be used to point out another ailment the target is under for the purpose of the “Purest Light” spell.

Aurora's mending: This spell calls forth the beautiful manifestation of the aurora the envelop one target and heal the target. The target is also protected from darkness for several seconds and has a temporary resistance to light and fire based spells. For the first three seconds after the spell hits its target (the duration in which the healing takes place) the target has a slightly elevated chance to dodge incoming projectiles, both physical and magical as the aurora distorts vision. The target itself is also hampered in the same way to hit someone. The increased dodge change lasts for three seconds. The vision impairment lasts a total of six seconds, where the last three seconds gradually vision increases as the shroud cast by the aurora fades.

Purple Aurora:
Ally/willing target use: Ally falls asleep and can remain asleep for as long as is desired or until woken up by anything that would usually wake the target up.
Enemy use: A purple aurora embraces enemy target and lulls it asleep for a 30 seconds after which it will wake up, without the usual drowsiness experienced after waking from sleep.

Low powered spells:
Light: Conjures a floating ball of light that emits both light and warmth. A miniature star if you will. This deals no damage or has any adverse effects for those near it other than providing light and warmth when near it.

Mini flares: Zaflore sends forth a massive amount of small brilliant white orbs. Each orb heals for a tiny amount yet it does stack up. This can be spread among multiple targets but each target will only receive a portion of the total healing capacity. This will only be able to heal minor wounds like scoffs, scratches and abrasions. This spell can also restore minor damage to objects.

Charmix spell: (High level)
Radium Luminis: Sends forth a massive beam of energy dealing a fierce amount of damage of which 25% light damage, 25% fire damage and 50% true damage. The true damage pierces all resistances including any and all shield effects on a target. This spell deals 25% more damage verses targets with darkness power or magical being fueled by dark energy. This spell will not damage anyone with light, star or fire power base, or any creature spawned/created or innate with either of those three forces.

Appearance:
Zaflore is a girl with hazel eyes and long straight auburn hair measuring to approximately halfway her back. She is 173 centimeters long and weighs 61 kilograms. She doesn't particularly stand out because of her beauty but she isn't ugly either. Her nose is just slightly too big to call it beautiful and her eyes are perpetually somewhat pinched. Her regular garments consist out of either a loose fitted skirt with a top or skinny jeans along with a top. Her clothes come in a wide array of bright colors but never anything dark. When transformed her clothes are predominantly yellow/golden and depending on which stage of transformation she's in the yellow/golden colors are trimmed with white/silver.

Strengths:
Knowlegde: Zaflore has extensive interest in the physical workings of the cosmos and most prevalent the workings of a star (the nuclear fission part and stuff like that)

Calm: Her composure is not easily broken. She will remain calm even under great strain. Her calm allows her to stay level headed in tight situations and remain perceptive. However during social interactions she is somewhat more open in showing her emotions.

Let the light burn!: Zaflore has partial resistance to light and fire based spells.

Business woman: Zaflore has enhanced insight in the economical functioning of realms and insight in how to run businesses.

Weaknesses:
No transformations!: Coming from earth and not having been in contact with any magical beings, transformations are perhaps the hardest to fathom for Zaflore. On earth a creature was as a creature was making it had to understand how this specific school of magic works for her. this inevitable leads to bad results during the transformation classes at Alfea and leads to her having severe difficulties identifying the presence of such spell. (This applies to the specific school of magic thought by Professor Wisgiz "Metamorphosimbiosis")

Stubborn: When she reasons a logical decision she won't budge and it will happen as she thinks is best. Logic is infallible and even if some feelings have to be hurt, so be it. This can lead to inter-personal conflict making dealing with her somewhat difficult at times.

Hate the darkness: the less light present the weaker her spellcasting, rendering her nearly useless when no illumination is present. This also makes her queasy in dark and dim environments. She is also vulnerable to dark typed spells. (Her spellcasting remains normal under a clear or nearly clear, star filled nocturnal light. Light pollution obstructing vision of stars or anything obscuring the stars will render her spellcasting weaker)

Anger fueled: During battle Zaflore tends to let anger get the better off her when getting damage or being involuntary involved in a fight. This will severely impede tactical decisions and make her reckless.

Personality:

Zaflore has slowly adapted herself into the magical dimension and is finding her place in the whole. Finding out more and more about the possibilities of her powers and growing exceedingly comfortable in the environment that once frightened her. Her fear hasn´t completely subsided as she is still cautious and dead set against any rash action. Preferring to plan and prepare for every contingency.

Her interest for healing and taking away the pain of others has only grown during her time working at the hospital. Though anger is still Zaflore’s biggest enemy. Whenever anger takes the reins, reason goes straight out of the window and Zaf’s decisions are purely made by her heart. Seeing people in pain or hurting fuels this flame to burn brightly, leading Zaf to make zealous efforts to take away the pain where she is able to do so.

Zaflore is highly driven to fulfill her dreams and personal goals. Making progress by having successfully created her first magical item and doing more and more research into the possibilities of healing magic she gets closer to what she wants to be with each and every step. She is slowly gravitating towards combining these two interests into one, making magical items that can heal. However many hours of study, research and experimentation will go into this before the dream can become a reality, though it´s a big part of what drives Zaflore to learn more about magic and her power each and every day.

The tough outer shells which were the results of years of scrutiny and abuse during her growing up at earth mostly shed. She´s open and kind to people except when the subject of her past on earth is brought up. She´ll mention being bullied but will utterly refuse to go in depth nor reveal any details about the details. Especially her older brother is a painful subject for her.

Zaflore has a stubborn streak to her person, wanting to be in control and often finding herself deciding what’s best while neglecting to take others’ opinions in mind. This results in conflict when her decision isn’t what the others want. This is the cause of most of the conflicts between Zaflore and her girlfriend Snow. However much they have in common, they don’t always see eye to eye.

History:
Zaflore was born February the tenth under the waterman constellation. Her parents proud of their first born daughter to make the life of their dreams complete. Her early childhood until she went to kindergarten was pretty much uneventful except that she began to develop quite a bad case of nyctophobia causing some distress. This was rather easily solved by letting her sleep with the lights on.

No one thought anything about her fear of darkness until one faithful day at kindergarten. In theme with the impending Halloween celebrations, however minor they are in the Netherlands, The teacher had the idea to darken the classroom. The second the light switched off Zaflore suffered a massive panic fit. Now that her fear seemed so severe the parents decided to consult a psychiatrist to help Zaflore overcome her dread for darkness.

Slowly but steadily, yet not completely, Zaflore became more at ease in the darkness. Still uncomfortable compared to most people but it was acceptable. The parents noticed another odd thing about Zaflore once they managed to get her outside for once during the darkness. Under the sky filled with stars her eyes grew so big they resembled dishes. Trying to make her see the beauty of darkness the parents tried it more often to get her in the backyard during night time, but the only times Zaflore would come out was when stars lit the sky.

Both parents and the psychiatrist they had been consulting about the matter were clueless as to why Zaflore would only go out at night under such specific conditions but they brushed it off. They noticed she took a special interests in the stars and purchased a telescope so Zaflore had the opportunity to watch the stars and planets up close.

Zaflore’s family was a dysfunctional one at best. Her mother Joyce and her father Mark both sank almost all of their time into work. Her mother worked as a high end international stock broker for a big bank while her father spent many hours at the hospital where he was in charge of the emergency room as a doctor. While not at school Zaflore was often subject to her borderline psychopath brother Marvin who took every opportunity to demean her. Often attacking her fear of darkness or making sure she wouldn’t forget he was her physical superior. The babysitters often didn’t care for Zaflore’s pleads and the fact her brother was smart enough to cover his tracks deftly made her powerless to break this cycle.

The fear Zaflore suffered didn't go unnoticed to her classmates, especially not after her fit of panic in the darkened classroom and she was perpetually ridiculed for it. Amongst other things they turned off the lights when she was using the bathrooms at school, or simply called her names when on the playground. Ridiculed for something she felt she started to doubt herself and became gradually insecure and uninterested in any form of social contact with her classmates. Which also caused plenty of concern amongst Zaflore's teachers over the years.

Bad as her social skills were, her grades were good, very good even. She was intelligent and eager to learn what beauty the world had to offer. Much of her primary school time went on like this. Her fear of darkness diminishing from sheer terror into some queasiness but as her fears diminished the ridicule and bullying of her classmates didn't. Although the subject of harass did change from her being scared of the dark to her being a nerd.

Instead of fighting the image of a nerd, she embraced it and with some renewed vigor she went on to middle school. With her composure now set in stone, or in ice depending who you'd ask, she was no longer the subject of constant harass. Neither did she get an awful lot of friends. She still focused mostly on her studies. There was however one other girl, Shy and very timid who was the subject of the class' harass, similar as what she had to endure during primary school. It didn't take long for them to become friends and she was the only one in the entire class who got to meet the nice and warm Zaflore rather than naught but a cold exterior.

Now Zaflore is 15 and with one friend, her first and only friend so far they decided to go to a haunted house for Halloween. Zaflore had never told her friend about the nasty mark Halloween left on her but since the darkness only made her uneasy she figured it could do little harm to go. Little did she know this evening would be the turning point in her life.

Once at the haunted house most of the stuff was generic and somewhat boring. But eventually Zaflore and her friend ended up in a room completely dark. Nothing but pitch black surrounding them and complete and utter silence. Then out of nowhere a screech sounded. Zaflore lost it and screamed murder and the instance she screamed a radiant burst of light emerged from her, blinding and slightly burning her friend(Similar to a sunburn, nothing too severe but annoying still) and blinding the scare actor(Nova spell).

Zaflore ran home scared of what had happened, concerned about her friend but too scared to inquire whether she was okay or not. Confused about what just had happened. Did she caused this? Did she just burst into light and... Everything and nothing raced through her mind to the point nothing materialized in her head and it all congealed into one another.

With the first manifestation of powers only at age fifteen her powers are still frail and weak. But since she enrolled in the Alfea school for fairies she makes steady improvements towards her becoming a true fairy of the stars.

Her personal disposition also seemed to brighten up a little coming to Alfea, finally knowing her interests and her fear of darkness all made sense. The magic of the stars had always been inside of her, but deserted her during the darkest of times which caused a deep innate fear. No longer mocked for who she was, but encouraged to be who she truly is she slowly opens up slightly more by each passing month.

Still, however she is accepted for who she is now, the many years of mockery and lack of a real social circle left their mark on her, still making her wary of those around her and Zaflore hiding behind the walls she put up.

Zaflore Aflea history.

When Zaflore arrived at Alfea she was a shy, introverted and very socially inept girl. Also she was acting somewhat clumsy with bringing way too much stuff from Earth to Alfea resuling in her dragging along a massive suitcase she could barely lift, let alone get up the flight of stairs she had to go up in order to get to her dorm. Then for the first time there was a random stranger named Clara who had helped her with some magic to get her stuff up.

Determined not to be caught in this situation again Zaflore began to explore the possibilities she had read about in fantasy books on Earth, and to her surprise she found a remote possibility to accomplish that and even though the way would be rather long she is determined to make sure she manages to create a pocket dimension. She has even thought about commercializing the things if she finds it is possible to do so.

However this is one of the more positive things happening to her at Alfea it's not all happiness and joy. Though her dorm mates helped her get rid of the better part of her social ineptness, around boys she is still awkward as can be. Never has she dated anyone nor does it look like this will happen any time soon.

Other things have gone awry for Zaflore as well. She found herself getting progressively scared as more and more stuff around her started happening until the point where one of her teachers, Professor Daphne seemed to go completely berserk. She has almost laid waste to Alfea. During the fight Zaflore overestimated herself badly and even though she only got hit by a flack of incidental damage, this blow was enough to make her turn tail and flee.

Not only did she flee, it made her doubt about her being a fairy. She saw others around her training to be a guardian fairy of their realm, or fight for what they stood for but she didn't know what she stood for and hadn't even the slightest clue where her magic came from. Usually most of the fairies inherited the powers from their parents, yet Zaflore had two ordinary earth parents and grandparents as far as she knew. So what was she training for? And was she suited for whichever fate would be bestowed upon her? These many doubts and the fact that she found out magic was way more dangerous than she had previously anticipated resulted in her slowly becoming a nervous wreck.

Due to her constantly being on edge and feeling out of control she has developed the tenancy to lash out at people without a real, or very little cause. This has resulted in her getting detention and making a horrible first impression on a girl from a previously unknown realm.

Fortunately this resolved and the two girls even become friends, making Zaflore less nervous but still pretty on edge. Who could know what angle the danger could come from? And if she had learned anything it would be she was in no way equipped to handle a dangerous situation, especially when her anger got the better of her which seemed to be the case more often than not when put in a sticky situation.

Zaflore has punched Diaspro, crown princess of Isis during the princess ball, yet also encountered some issues regarding the current state of Isis' sustainability thanks to a conversation with Snow. It is as of yet unknown how this will influence matters in the future.

Zaflore worked for a brief time at the hospital of Magix as a janitor. Seeing people hurting while they often had to wait for hours for the horribly understaffed place to get to the patients for help broke her heart more than once. She tried to help those who needed it, and those she could. Unfortunately after being caught one too many times doing this she was fired from the hospital. During this an altercation between a furious Zaflore and the security took place, where Zaflore injured a couple of guards and burned down a small part of the hospital. She hasn´t heard anything from her.

Zaflore managed to create her first successful magical item, she can enhance the storing capacity of any container vastly, enabling people to take a week´s worth of luggage in something the size of a purse. Now she is working on expanding the array of magical items she can make to provide more diversity to her business model. The sale of the enhanced bags has started through a small web shop she set up at the magical web, dreaming that her business can expand and help many people with the magical items she designs and produces.

Once socially inept, Zaflore now found love as she grew closer and closer to Snow over the course of her stay at Alfea until they finally found their paths interwoven with one another. Snow being a great supporter of Zaflore she gives her the energy and motivation needed to hang out and be the best person she can be every day. With a strong sense of justice, Snow always provides Zaf with the right course of action. Though Zaf´s stubborn streak and control freak tendencies sometimes cause for conflict as she drives her will regardless of her wishes.

Being calm is a personality trait, not a strength but yeah. Weakness part, needs a little more depth to it. Like her least favorite homework subjects and assignments from school, and such. And that last part in personality, that should be put in history. Please edit those areas.

While being calm is a personality trait, it can be reworded into a strength. For instance, instead of simply being a calm person, how about she's level headed in battles? Being a level-headed individual means one is capable of thinking first and being aware of their surroundings instead of having a narrow-view in battle.

The way this is written, it's written as a personality trait. Just remove the "If she snaps however... run... run for your dear life, run."

I agree with Sarah, however, on the final part of the statement. You should never undermine a strength; you can add it into the personality trait.

Please explain your reasoning on why this would be a weakness. I believe I understand where you're going with this, but this is leaning towards personality for me over weakness.

Also, the incorporation of the sun in her drawing/art works isn't a direct explanation, just a minor detail first implying the nature of her powers... It's implied storytelling, hinting towards something when nothing has manifested yet but due to the development of the story and her drawing power from the stars, in conjunction with the fear of darkness explain why she put those suns in there.
