A translated blurb from an interview with Iginio Straffi, posted today on the Wired.it

I think the webseries would focus on the winx's personal lives because i doubt that have time to battle an enemy in 3 min.

This will be AMAZING! It could also attract tons of new fans. If they get hooked onto the Web series, they might be more compelled to watch the real show and such. I can't wait! I hope Roxy and some lesser characters will get their chances to shine. (I'm wondering if these webisodes will be anything like the 5th season trailer, with the characters creating vlogs and such)

Sounds not bad of an idea. This will get more fans of Winx Club around the world to get into this series, since some people who have internet access don't watch TV as often as I do. And I do agreed that we need backstories of these minor characters, as well as Roxy. We haven't managed to get to know them or seen them as much.

I just hope this is not that kind of life-lesson short series. That would be so boring.

I love the idea, it will help a lot if they explain more about other characters, just like Roxy, or Flora and Tecna. And not just Bloom. I hope that doesn't cause for new plot holes, because there are a lot already.

I am soo excited for this, it will make Winx more popular around the world, and this may help Winx continue with the seasons.
