Winx 6 Secret Video: Friends and Enemies

Someone hold me because I'm finally excited for something in this season. Apparently, the Winx are getting Bloomix separately (someone heard my prayers, god bless). At 0:46, we can see that Stella, Aisha and Flora already have Bloomix, Bloom has Sirenix and Musa and Tecna are still powerless. Yay?
Also, Diaspro is back, and with a vengeance. We see her with the Trix, she either teams up with them or they're just attacking her school and she decided to do something useful for once.

Thoughts?

Did Diaspro know who Baltor was? I'm just curious because this has been bothering me a lot in terms of the Winx fandom. See, I never was Diaspro's biggest fan but I think out of the entire cast, she's the most human of all the female characters. Just because she gets angry and is Bloom's 'Love rival' doesn't make her inherently evil on the level that the Trix are. To just point a finger at her and say she's a villain is really superficial. She has more motives for what she does than the Trix do - she seems to have been groomed to be a queen of a planet that she definitely has a lot of love for and she's a lot more politically savvy than Bloom is, which is fair because Bloom grew up with a totally different life. I can beat people over the head with Diaspro not being the actual villain in the love triangle of Bloom/Sky/Diaspro all day because Diaspro didn't even know about Bloom. Her fiancé goes off to school, has a tryst with another girl and then when she finally gets to see him again, she's attacked by this girl and finds out that her fiancé has cheated on her and she is publically humiliated. Before people jump to attack me, I'm not blaming Bloom either or Sky, I can understand all their reasonings.

But given all that was kind of promised to Diaspro, I can understand why she would have taken the love potion, it was her chance to get back into her place in society and to have the relationship with Sky that she wanted. She's not seen him with Bloom the way the viewers have so she doesn't know what their relationship is like and why should she care if it hurts Bloom? After all, Bloom can find another guy to Diaspro's way of thinking, and Diaspro can't. Her entire life has been dedicated to being Queen of Eraklyon.

In Season five, despite her petty attitude and snide passive agressive comments on Bloom (and I've seen the same comments on this forum, so people in glass houses shouldn't be throwing stones because everyone, including myself, is capable of being bratty), Diaspro was actually the only character being logical. Bloom's attitude towards Sky not paying her attention and busting into serious discussions was pretty childish and sneaking away for alone time with Sky during negotiations was irresponsible, especially when this was her parents first publically hosted interplanetary political event. She was supposed to be representing Domino in a good light, and for around 20 episodes, she didn't do this well. Diaspro seized on it and called her out on it, but she was always seen by Bloom to be the bad guy trying to stop her being with Sky. Before she fell into the water, Diaspro raised a really valid point: Sky is the only heir to the Eraklyon throne, no monarchy should really be offering up their only heir to the front line. At least not without a deep discussion about the pros and cons, but again, Diaspro was painted to be the immature brat and for no reason at all, was mocked by the writers and chucked into the water.

There's been nothing that Diaspro has done that's been innately evil - her siding with the Trix seems to be once again, the writer's attempt to make people like Bloom better. It's failed every single time because Bloom, as a character, is not earning our compassion. Diaspro is earning the compassion of most people with human understanding because she's more real in comparison to Bloom. Sadly the writers of Winx aren't even being true to their characters anymore. We've seen that with how Icy reacted to Tritannus but unless they come up with a very valid reason for Diaspro defecting to the dark side, then I will be ignoring this subplot, and I'll be handing the writers even more minus respect points.

Pretty much what Zadien said, she's basically made out to be the villain despite not doing anything inherently wrong (except the love potion, but she did have a good reason). I feel pretty bad for her.

Zadien! your the best! tbh I didn't see her as a villain either. I mean, she is drop dead GORGIOUS! fairy of jewelry, her colours, everything about her is just gorgious. and like you said, she really has the 'queen' air around her. And I understood her reasoning too like you say about Sky being stolen away... I still dream of Diaspro starting to be friends with Bloom, and the winx... oh well I can keep on dreaming I guess...

I know a few people who write Diaspro and Bloom forming a friendship and they do it in a great and realistic way. My own version goes with season five Diaspro befriending Krystal at the talks which leads to her forming a friendship with Galatea and Nova.

Because I started to write that, it gave me a new understanding and appreciation for Diaspro as a character. I sometimes believe the fans understand the characters better than their own writers but it's also a case of the audience the show is aimed at. It seems to be a case that because the VA for Diaspro is so famous, they have to shove her into the plot, even if the storyline is unrealistic but I suppose we won't know for sure until we see the episodes, but the pointless and blind bashing of Diaspro as a character is kind of obnoxious. People raise a lot of fuss about people expressing negative views on Bloom without reason, so that kind of attitude should be extended to all the characters.

Seems I missed the fun. In all honesty, being someone who was cheated on while married, I would rather the writers of Winx Club had Sky beg for Bloom and Diaspro's forgiveness. The two of them can be friends and try to decide whether or not he deserves forgiving.

Other than that I agree with what Zadien and Flora have said.

You guys need to understand that fillers they use as relationships and feelings actually happen in this world whether you're aware or unaware of that. The writers are basically using it as a stimulus to create fillers for entertainment and honestly I believe it's the most and only brilliant idea they've came up with. Honestly, Diaspro is overrated yet underrated by most people. If Diaspro never happened none of these "relationship" problems would've either which is hard to think about because I like those dramas being that people could relate to it no matter how "childish" you guys would think it is. However, I don't think Diaspro has any intentions to work with the trix and don't quote me on this I may be wrong. I think she's just either defending something or is trying to work out a truce between her and them.
