Which dub do you prefer?

Yay! I finally get to ask this question LOL. I just hope it's in the right section. I checked the seasons first and couldn't find a spot there.

So since Winx Club has had 3 official dubs which one is your favourite and which could you do without? Which one had better VAs and which made you cringe?

I think as far as VAs go Nick and 4Kids are tied since both studios had the money for good VAs and a lot of them were very well known. For example Musa in the 4Kids dub also did the voice for Lina Inverse in the English dub of Slayers for three seasons.

However in terms of quality I'm sticking with Rainbow/ Cinelume since nothing was edited or changed because Cinelume worked directly with Rainbow. However Flora's voice was beyond sappy IMO.

Nick is not my favourite in terms of Dubbing and I wish they hadn't managed to cut down season 1 into three specials and change so much in the specials! Like now Sky and Brandon didn't switch identities and that didn't need to be explained in season 2 because most of season two was deleted! Yikes! I'm very grateful to have all of season 1 and part of season 2 of the RAI dub for this reason.

And do NOT get me started on changing Klaus to Rick or having Nabu ask Aisha to be his 'forever girlfriend' SMDH. Season 5 was a bloody train wreck too.

So, anyone else?

Its an iffy for me..... I like Rainbow and Nick Dubs both....

I think i'll always be partial to the rainbow/rai version but I like the sparkly effect that charmix had in Nick.Not a fan of 4kids hands down, although I do give it props for personality.

There are a few things that 4Kids did right. I liked that they named the crystals the Trix use in season one. 4Kids named them 'The Whisperian Crystals' and even gave them a chant to do as well.

I also liked how 4Kids handled the interaction with Riven and Musa at the end of season 1. They had Riven tell Musa that he liked her. In the Rainbow version he just says he's looking for Timmy. Of course now I have to check the Italian later, but I'm sure that's what he said in both dubs I've seen.

4Kids also did a better job handling the episode where the Trix stole the codex from Red Fountain (Crypt of the Codex RAI/ Reaching for the Sky 4Kids) They saved Bloom from becoming a Mary Sue by only putting Sky in a deep sleep so she had to revive him. In the Rainbow version he was dead and Bloom brought him back to life.

But other than that I don't like them at all. I've heard stories about how they treat their employees too.
