Is the fanfiction section becoming inactive?

First topic message reminder :

(I think this is where this topic goes if not mods please move it)I have noticed that the fanfiction section has not got a lot of people posting in it. Nobody has posted any stories there except myself who posted a story there yesterday. f I post a story nobody replies except one person replied to one of my stories a few weeks ago. So what do you think,is the fanfiction section becoming inactive?

if most of the active people around here only rely on the latest topic moving thing on the left and do not browse the boards every now and then by themselves.....
things like this can be the cause of that

i on the other hand, Always browse around in all boards
more people should do that ...but you cant force them so

We cannot force people to post on the fanfiction section,people are interested in role plays and stuff like that now.

So is it or not? I was going to start writing stories........

You can't force people into anything, but You can always try to draw their attention Very Happy

And I usually go through the forum, when I'm here (apart from rpg section, I'm not really feeling strong for that), but I don't like digging up old topics, that I will just post and then it will get back inactive- makes me feel like I (and by doing that I also don't want to look as someone who's) desperately trying to increase the posts number... But that's me of course.

If it shuts down, I'll have to post my stories in another section I guess.........

I would like to post the next chapter of my story but that would double posting and I don't really like advertising

I'll start on my stories later. I already have ideas

@Hollywinx- I wonder if that would be really a (bad) double posting if You'd do that- I mean if it's not a situation, where You could add to the previous post what You are writing in the new one, then I don't see a reason why that would be wrong. And I think that's the meaning of double posting- pointless separating reply...

I'll be sure to check them out,you'll probably know what my fanfics are when you see them,but back to the topic,what does everybody think about the fanfic section? I think it's a great place to post stories and share them.
@Verbeley-I have tried that but nobody looked at them....
