| PM a mod a link to the post, and explain to them what you think is wrong with it. Sorry there's no report button just on the posts. Mods are people with either yellow or orange names, in case you weren't aware. Like me, Di Zio, JAD, Duncan, and more.  | |

| Well you can't really at this time. Jae disabled the setting for reporting posts. I'll try to get in touch with Jae to see if he can enable the "Report Status" on the forum.
But for now, you should just PM one of the mods and they will remove/lock the topic for you. | |

ACTUALLY there is a way to report posts/topics
you guys just havent noticed it before, i dont blame you for that
as its not at an obvious and noticable spot!
just go to the topic where you see a post you think you should report
and then go to the bottom of the topic page, there you can see something that says ''Report an abuse''
clicking that will redirect you to a report page where you can be more specific of why what etc.
Though, of course members can always still just pm moderators right away! Do know using the Report an abuse link will only notify an administrator of the situation....

Well that is true. But that does not apply to any one post. The "Report and abuse" button sends a report to the administrator about the forum. The button appears on the homepage of the forum as well so I not sure if it applies to any one post/topic. It is basically a "Report" button for the forum itself and any topic on it. I guess you're right but the member would have to state the link to the topic.
Forumotion provides an option for a "Report Post/Topic" option on the forum. Jae has not enabled for members yet. Once the option is enable, on the top of each post (where is has the 'edit' and 'quote' buttons), a new button will pop up of an exclamation point which is a button to report that one post/topic. The default image should look like this:
So I am not sure if we should have that enabled on the forum or if we should use the "Report An Abuse" option. | |
