Winx Couples

First topic message reminder :

Okay well,Happy Valentine's day everybody/Single Pathetic People Party :3
So now i only ship BrandonxStella, MusaxRiven and FloraxRiven,That's all i mean,I don't think any of them actually fit together.. except for Tecna and Timmy
Flora and Brandon Because they like totally want everything simple and have really some sense of humor
Stella and Sky Because like they're both Divas (I love stella lol)
Bloom and Riven Because they're all ignorant and stubborn
Aisha and Roy Well they look so CUTE together
Musa and Helia They have artistic visions which makes them similar in a way

Yes, Domino Kitty, I do know where you live :p I never ever got the idea of Flora/Riven mainly because I feel that if she can't even talk to Helia about her issues, there's not a chance of her talking to Riven. She's a sweetheart but the two of them would hurt each other without evening meaning to, he'd be harsh without thinking, she'd shrink away, they'd end up walking on eggshells around each other. I mean, a good writer could probably make it work, but I'm quite happy with my Musa and Riven stories Very Happy

I believe you should amend your statement to: 'I don't feel that Flora and Riven would ever go out'. Your statement right now implies that you're the only person who gets to decide what everyone else should agree with. Also, calling someone else's opinion crazy is rude.

Flora and Riven do have some things in common. They both aren't comfortable with their emotions and they don't seem to express themselves very well. Just because Flora seems more introverted than Riven doesn't mean that they don't have anything in common. You don't need to have everything in common with someone to form a bond.

I think Riven had the potential to work out well with Flora in the beginning of season two because of some of the interactions they had together. Also up until recently Flora has been more trusting of people and less argumentative than Musa. Something Riven could have used a lot of in season 4 when Musa was implying that he should have been some kind of mind reader.

You see, I think Flora was slowly gaining more confidence in herself and her actions until Nick got ahold of season 5 and screwed her personality up. Remember in season 4 when she'd told Roxy that they did need the guys' help? And how she'd dove after Miele in season 3. She's shy, but I don't think she's that fragile. And we both know that Riven isn't as rough and abrupt as everyone likes to make him out to be.

I can make it work, I just have to finish that first chapter of Red Rag Top.

I've no doubt you'll do a good job Megan. Like I said, it comes down to the writer's talent - there are people who can mess up Musa and Riven so much that I cringe. I do like writing her and Riven as friends because I think they could be great friends, but you know I'm a firm Musa Riven fan, just like I'd never pair Helia and Musa because while they could be great friends, for me, personally, they just don't have any chemistry. People saying 'Oh they're both creative' doesn't mean that they'll have the chemistry to last. There needs to be an almost equal set of similarity and differences to make something work for me as a reader/viewer.

Tecna and Timmy were the most natural couples to me while Flora and helia doesn't seem to really appear together most of the time but both were very sweet when they are seen each other! Wink
