Attn Canadian fans: Temporary Time Change for Winx Club on YTV

For those like me who live in Canada and watch Winx Club on Ytv (because here in Canada Nick Canada is a package channel only available through digital Cable and Satellite users with the Family package) I just want to tell you that on the 23rd and 30th of this month Winx Club will be airing at 7am Eastern and Pacific instead of 10am like they usually do.

I just thought you all might want to know.

Also for those in Canada with digital cable or satellite, but no family package, Nick Canada is running a promo this month. For those with Shaw Digital cable your channel is 135.

Thank you for telling me! I had set up my cable to record it at 7. Now I can change it.

No problem. I wish I knew why Ytv was changing the time for those two weeks though.

Ytv has had Winx Club on their station since August when they started airing season 4. Last year during the Christmas break they aired the specials as well. When 4Kids still owned the rights to Winx Club Ytv aired seasons 1-3 of that version.

YTV is also posting 2 of the Winx Club games and has updated the look of Winx Club on their site, Nick Canada has yet to do that.

^ Seems like Nick Canada is more up to date. I say drop Winx from Nick Canada, and keep it on YTV. More people have YTV, and it's perfect for getting Canadian viewers.

I agree especially since I live on the West Coast so my 8 year old never gets to watch Winx Club on Nick Canada because it airs at NOON here and she's in school. It doesn't help that Nick Canada re-airs the episodes at 5am my time on Saturdays and Sundays. Nevermind that here in Canada Nick Canada is a premium channel instead of the basic channel it is back in the US (I miss that! I used to live in NY)

Ytv is a much better choice. They have a West coast channel and they're a basic cable channel for most people. My MIL used to only get Teletoon and not Ytv though when she had Sunwave- Shaw just bought out Sunwave last year though and started broadcasting in the Shuswap.

It is better. So much more convenient. As for why YTV changed the time, those episodes are pretty close to Christmas. Their probably airing some Christmas specials at that time, so they had to push it into an available slot.

I can see that happening especially since they did it for some Halloween specials back in October when Winx Club aired at 8am one sunday. I just wish I knew if Ytv was going to try and throw the Winx Club Christmas special in there sometime. Well we can try to find out next Monday if we'll get the Christmas special on the 23rd. Yes it would throw off the continuity of the show, but it's in the name of Christmas specials.

I don't know whether they'll be on time with showing the special. They only started showing S5, what? A week ago? They'll probably air the episode where Sky gets amnesia then, and put it on a short hiatus to gain interest.
